and 08.05 – 28/11/07)

To note: HR are currently drafting a specific Age

Discrimination Act policy.

To receive: The College’s Retirement Policy and an update DC08/02/03

from the Director of Human Resources.

08.18.02 Diagnostic Assessment of Students (Min 07.45 –

13/06/07)

To receive: A verbal update from the Director of Information

Services on funding issues for 2007-2008
diagnostic testing.

08.18.03 Staff Dyslexia Policy (Min 08.03.06 – 28/11/07)

To note: The FE Subject Leader and the HR Co-ordinator

will be meeting shortly to discuss changes to the
wording of the Procedure for Staff who are
Dyslexic.

To note: The Head of Facilities and Resources has been

included on the membership of this Committee.

08.18.05 Student Ambassadors (Min 08.09 – 28/11/07)

To note: The hourly rate for Student Ambassadors has

increased.

08.18.06 Staffing Statistics (Min 08.12 – 28/11/07)

To note: The HR Coordinator and the Director of Human

Resources have discussed the collection of 100%
staff ethnicity data at the College. Further
consideration is being given to potential legal
implications. The collection of this data will be
implemented as part of the new e-recruitment
process.

08.18.07 Youth Board Pilot (Min 08.13 – Min 28/11/07)

To note: The Youth Board Pilot Project had a double page

spread in the Greenwich Community Network
Newsletter, Winter 2007-2008 edition. Work
continues in this area.

08.19 EQUALITY SCHEMES

To receive: a) An update on progress with the Disability Equality DC08/02/04

Scheme annual review.

b) The annual Race Equality Monitoring and Impact DC08/02/05

Report 2006-2007.

To consider: A proposal to develop a Single Equality Scheme for DC08/02/06

the College.

08.20 RAVENSBOURNE FUND

To receive: A verbal update from the Research and

Development Officer on the Ravensbourne Fund.
The deadline for applications from students is 31
January 2008. The Panel is scheduled to meet on
14 February 2008, and decisions due to be
announced by the end of February 2008.

08.21 EQUALITY DIVERSITY AND THE GREENWICH PENINSULA

To discuss: Equality Diversity and the Greenwich Peninsula.
