paper and it was a very good letter by him and I am interested in your
comments. I am not happy that you got rid of Walt Monegan and that you want
to lower the public safety budget, I would like to see it increase. You are giving
money out like crazy and money needs to be put in the public safety budget, it is
worth it. Another thing that I am upset about is that you have ignored the public
on their voting against killing wolves from airplanes. Otherwise you are doing a

Subject: Drug and Alcohol major problem
I read in the paper that Monegan said that sexual assault was the biggest issue
here in Alaska and I feel that it is the drug and alcohol abuse in the villages. I
think that if Monegan had taken the position on the Alcohol and Drug Board
then maybe we wouldn't have this situation with troopergate. We need better
treatment facilities for these abusers so that they don't repeat their previous
crimes. We have women having 7 children who are alcoholics even in dry
villages that aren't able to take care of their children and so they are being
handed over to OCS. I think we need to focus more on that problem and in turn
it will solve the other issues we have here in Alaska. I would like to see more
public awareness for Neltrixion which is a drug to help with addictions. This
would help people save money for treatment. Many crimes are caused because of
drug abuses and I think if we had more awareness of this shot, it would help
many people with their addictions and help solve some of our crime problems.
