Subject: Fence Lab Video Footage

Good afternoon.

(b) (6) and I received the below request for Fence Lab video footage.

If you approve their request, (b) (6) and I would ensure they do not use footage of proprietary designs.

While we would get some good will out of letting the Forest Service use the video footage, there is the
possibility that the video could spread to the Internet and be used against us by immigrant rights
activists.

We request your direction on the request.

Thank you.

Good morning:

We are producing a short safty video for the USDA Foest Service concerning
loose objects, untethered, in vehicles, and how they can become a
projectile hazard during a sudden stop or collison. Specifically, we are
looking at unsecured tools in the bed of pick up trucks: digging bars, fire
fighting hand tools shovels, etc,, and objects in the cabs of vehicles:
hand held portable radios, lunch boxes, etc.

So, we are seeking file fvideo footage of tests which included the effects
of these actions, to include in the video.

The final video will be in an electronic form to be viewed by Forest

Service personnel via the Fs Intranet accoss the U.S. There is always the
possibility that the video would make its way over to the www internet,
although, this is not our intention.

If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Good morning.

(b) (6) and I can help get you an answer to your request to provide video
to USDA, but we will need some background on the project.

Can you provide a short description of what you would like to release,
as well as the intended purpose and audience?

Thank you.
