STUDENT RESEARCH ASSISTANT - ADVANCED PROPULSION LABORATORY.
JOHNSON HALL, UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
Designed, constructed, and tested various components for high-powered helicon thruster (HPH)
and Micro Plasma-Induced Thruster (PIT). Worked approximately 1,200 hours in laboratory
environment with 3 graduate students. Used soldering irons, power drills, mill, voltmeter, and
worked with elementary circuit systems by doing basic wiring, soldering and wire stripping.

Digital Systems, Embedded Systems, Lasers & Attosecond Physics, Satellite Communications,
Computer Architecture, and Senior Design. Led senior design project to build a portable solarpowered seawater distillation system.
Practical experience acquired: MCU controlled elements, solar power management and charge
control, and High-powered electrical circuits and components including transformers and MOSFET
transistors.
