Case: Eze Castle software (Kindergarten Fun)

Q1). What is your reaction to this “employee plan” implemented by Eze?

Do you believe it is too simplistic? Defend your position.

Ans. If I was the employee of Eze castle software, my reaction was completely
against the “employee plan”. Because: Yes it is really too simplistic way to
manage the operations in the organization. The problems that Eze Castle
software was facing are really a complex and serious issues. They couldn’t be
solved in this way.

Introduction:

Eze Castle Software Company is profitable company, doing business very well
and growing with impressive speed and earning great profit. But it seems
that there is not well defined job structure in the organization as well as
management is not implementing the management functions correctly i.e.
planning, organizing, leading , controlling. That is the basic reason which
cause disturbance in the workplace.

Problem:

The main issue Eze castle facing is the daily interruption in the on going
process of employees work as said supplies were not available, unavailability
of stock items and mail not delivered, this was due to lack of human resource
management team. Employees are retarded of these routinely hurdles and
no one was there to sum up those problems and if someone tries to solve he
can’t and there was nobody to look after these issues and there is not any
other activity for employees recreation that’s why employees started doing
useless downloading stuff.

Employee Plan:

The employee plan presented by Eze company official is good effort but there
are some tasks that should not be done by employees as these tasks are not
technical or professional work. The employee waste their valuable time in
these low profile tasks. Moreover the plan of socializing by providing a break
with refreshment is an excellent idea. In this way they will discuss the
problems all together and it would be helpful for the organization.

Q2). Do you believe such employee programs as described in this case

can succeed at other companies? Why or why not?

Ans. It depends upon the company and its employee working criteria. I think if the
company is doing or conducting fully professional work from the employees
than it will not succeed meanwhile if the employees are doing no specialized
job than it works successfully. The main reason is we should not make busy
experienced employees at simple tasks.

Q3). Do you believe special human resource management conditions have

to exist for such a system to work? Explain. How do these conditions
relate to motivation?

Ans. Yes, there should be special human resource management conditions have to
exist for such a system to work. Definitely this system needs implementation
of motivation theories, appropriate job design, reward and incentive systems,
compensation and benefits. If the employee is motivated through these
approaches then he/she surely provide his abilities with an environment that
encourage him/her to exert high energy levels.
