I am Syeilendra Pramuditya, I graduated from Department of Physics

(Reactor Physics Research Division), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB),
INDONESIA.

I finished my bachelor program (B.Sc) in 2005 and master program

(M.Sc) in February 2007, and I am very eager to continue my study for a
higher degree.

My thesis topic was related to development of neutronic and thermo-hydraulic computer

code for preliminary design study of PWR nuclear reactor. In my research,
I developed two dimensional (R-Z geometry) multigroup diffusion computer
code which is combined with simple thermo hydraulic module to calculate
temperature distribution, which then is linked to steam generator and turbine
calculation modules to calculate thermodynamic efficiency, based on
Rankine steam cycle. I also built an interface so that I can utilize SRAC
code results (macroscopic cross sections) as nuclear data for input to my
code.

Currently I am interested in advanced nuclear energy systems under the

Generation IV framework, especially the concepts of nuclear energy systems
for hydrogen production, but of course I can be flexible in conducting
research.

My academic supervisors were Prof. Zaki Suud <szaki[at]fi.itb.ac.id> and Prof.

Abdul Waris <awaris[at]fi.itb.ac.id>, they recommended me to continue my study
abroad. I am looking for possibilities for conducting research in your
institution.

is Ersa Tri Wahyuni from Indonesia and I am really interested to pursue my PhD next year in this

My name is Ario Muhammad from Indonesia, 26 years old. Currently, I am a junior lecturer at
Civil Engineering Department, The Narotama University Indonesia .
I have opened your website and interested in your research about the structural health
monitoring and dynamic response of structures. Recently, I am reading some of your papers
especially the papers related to bridge evaluation. The field of structural health monitoring
especially for bridge structure monitoring is very interesting and challenging since my
research from bachelor and master degree is on the construction material evaluation using
NDT techniques, in addition, currently, the government of Indonesia focuses on some
researches related to the infrastructure evaluation (include bridge).
I plan to pursue my PhD study at Nottingham University in next year (2014) and now I am
applying for Lembaga Pengelolaan Dana Pendidikan (LPDPD)
Scholarships managed by the Finance Minister of Indonesia and Islamic Development
Bank (IDB) Scholarshipsas the full financial suppport for my PhD study. The admission
letter from Nottingham University is one of the requirement documents to support my
application.
As I read in Nottingham University admission regulation, in order to apply on doctorate
program, I need to contact the expected supervisor directly. Furthermore would you mind to
accept me as the doctorate research student on your laboratory and what are the expected
research topic that can be my future research in Nottingham?
