َ ‫ﹶﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻘﺼِﻴ َﺩ ﹸﺓ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ُﻤ‬


‫ﺼﻴ ﹺﺭﻱ‬
َ ‫ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺨﹶﻴ ﹺﺭ ﺍ ﹾﻟ َﺒ ﹺﺭﻴ ِﺔ ِﻟﻺﻤَﺎ ﹺﻡ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻟ ُﺒ ْﻭ‬
َ ِ‫ﻼﺓ‬
‫ﺼﹶ‬‫ِﻓﻲ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
al-Qašīdatul Muđariyyah
Fīš Šalāti ‘alā Khayril BariyyahLil Imām Sharafid Dīn Abī ‘Abd Allah Muĥammad al-Būšayrī
Mawlāya šalli wa sallim dāiman abadan
'Alā Ĥabībika Khayril khalqi kullihimi

‫ل ﻤَﺎ ﺫﹸ ِﻜ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ‬


ِ‫ﺴ‬ْ ‫ﺠﻤِﻴ ﹺﻊ ﺍﻟ ﱡﺭ‬
َ ‫ﻷ ﹾﻨ ﹺﺒﻴَﺎ َﻭ‬
َ ‫َﻭﺍ‬ ‫ﻀ ﹴﺭ‬
َ ‫ﺨ ﹶﺘﺎ ﹺﺭ ﻤِﻥ ُﻤ‬
‫ﻋﹶﻠﻰ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ُﻤ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ل‬
‫ﺼﱢ‬َ ‫ﺏ‬
‫َﻴﺎ َﺭ ﱢ‬
wal Anbiyā wa jamī’ir Rusli mā dhukirū Yā Rabbi šalli ‘alāl Mukhtāri min Muđarin
O Allah, send blessings upon the Chosen One al Mukhtar from the tribe of Mudar
and upon the messengers and all the prophets that have been previously mentioned

‫ﺸ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
‫ﻥ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ ﹶﻨ ﹶ‬
‫ﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﱢﻴ ﹺ‬
‫ﻁﱢ‬‫ﻥ ِﻟ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺤ ﹺﺒ ِﻪ َﻤ‬
ْ‫ﺼ‬َ ‫َﻭ‬ ‫ﻋﹶﻠﻰ ﺍ ﹾﻟﻬَﺎﺩِﻱ ﻭﺸِﻴ َﻌ ِﺘ ِﻪ‬
َ ‫ﺏ‬
‫ل َﺭ ﱢ‬
‫ﺼﱢ‬َ ‫َﻭ‬
wa Šaĥbihi man li ťayyid Dīni qad nasharū Wa šalli Rabbi ‘alāl Hādī wa Shī’atihi
And send blessings, O my Lord, upon the Guide and his followers,
and upon his followers, and upon his companions who spread the foundations of the religion

‫ﺼ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ َﻭﹶﻟ ُﻪ ﺁ َﻭﻭْﺍ َﻭ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ ﹶﻨ‬
َ ‫َﻭ َﻫﺎ‬ ‫ﺠ ﹶﺘ َﻬ ُﺩﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
ْ ‫ﷲ َﻭﺍ‬
ِ ‫ﺠﺎ َﻫ ُﺩﻭ ﹾﺍ َﻤ َﻌ ُﻪ ﻓِﻲ ﺍ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
waĥājarū wa lahu āwaw wa qad našarū Wa jāhadū ma’ahu fiLlāhi wajtahadū
And who strove with him, by Allah and endeavoured and who migrated and those who sheltered and helped him

‫ﷲ ﻓﺎ ﹾﻨ ﹶﺘﺼَ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ‬


ِ ‫ﺼ ُﻤﻭﺍ ﹺﺒﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﹶﺘ‬
ْ ‫ﷲ ﻭﺍ‬
ِ ِ ‫ﺼ ُﺒﻭﺍ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﹶﺘ‬
ْ ‫ﻥ َﻭﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺴ ﹸﻨﻭ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ َﺒﻴﱠ ﹸﻨﻭﺍ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ْﺭﺽَ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻤ‬
liLlāhi wa’tašamū biLlāhi fantašarū Wa bayyanūl farđa wal masnūna wa’tašabū
And they clarified the obligation (of religion) and the Sunna, and formed the congregation for Allah and held fast unto Allah and thus triumphed

‫ﻁ ُﺭ‬
ِ ‫ﺸﺭﹺ َﻫﺎ ﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻌ‬
‫َﻴﺎ ﹶﻨ ﹾ‬
ًّ ‫ُﻴ َﻌﻁﱢـ ُﺭ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻜ ْﻭﻥَ ﺭ‬ ‫ﺸﺭَ ﹶﻓﻬَﺎ‬
‫ﻼ ٍﺓ َﻭَﺃ ﹾﻨﻤَﺎ َﻫﺎ َﻭَﺃ ﹾ‬
‫َﺃ ْﺯﻜﹶﻰ ﺼَ ﹶ‬
yu’aťťirul kawna rayyan nashriha-l ‘aťiru Azkā šalātin wa anmāhā wa ashrafahā
The best blessings, greatest, most righteous be upon him, which makes fragrant the world a sweet spreading scent

‫ﻥ ﻴَ ﹾﻨ ﹶﺘﺸِ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻀ َﻭﺍ ﹺ‬
ْ ‫ﺝ ﺍﻟ ﱢﺭ‬
ُ ‫ﻥ ﻁِﻴ ﹺﺒ َﻬﺎ َﺃ َﺭ‬
ْ ‫ِﻤ‬ ‫ﻙ ﺯَﺍ ِﻜ َﻴ ٍﺔ‬
ِ ‫ﺴ‬
ْ ‫ﻕ ﺍﻟ ِْﻤ‬
ِ ‫َﻤ ْﻌﺒُﻭ ﹶﻗﺔٍ ﹺﺒ َﻌ ﹺﺒﻴ‬
min ťībihā arajur riđwāni yantashiru Ma’būqatan bi ‘abīqil miski zākiyatin
Scented with the fragrance of pure musk and from it goodness and aromatic please it spread

‫ﻷ ْﺭﺽﹺ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻤ َﺩ ُﺭ‬


َ‫ﺕﺍ‬
‫ﺴﻤَﺎ َﻭ ﹶﻨﺒَﺎ ﹸ‬
‫ﺠ ُﻡ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
ْ ‫ﹶﻨ‬ ‫ل َﻴ ﹾﺘ َﺒ ُﻌ َﻬﺎ‬
ِ ‫ﺤﺼَﻰ َﻭﺍﻟ ﱠﺜﺭَﻯ َﻭﺍﻟ ﱠﺭ ْﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ ﺍ ﹾﻟ‬
َ
najmus samā wa nabātul arđi wal madaru ‘Addal ĥašā wa-th tharā war ramli yatba’uhā
(and send these blessings) by the number of stones, earth and sand, followed by the stars in the skies, the planets and soil there is on land

‫ﻁ ُﺭ‬
‫ﺠﻤِﻴ ﹺﻊ ﺍ ﹾﻟﻤَﺎ ِﺀ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻤ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻁ ُﺭ‬
‫َﻴِﻠ ْﻴ ِﻪ ﹶﻗ ﹾ‬ ‫ل ﹶﻜﻤَﺎ‬
ِ ‫ﺠﺒَﺎ‬
‫ﻥ ﻤَﺜﹶﺎﻗِﻴلِ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹺ‬
‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ َﻭ ْﺯ ﹺ‬
َ‫ﻭ‬
yalīhi qaťru jamī’il mā-I wal maťaru Wa ‘adda wazni mathāqīlil jibāli kamā
And by the weight of the heaviest mountain, and like this, by the number drops of water and rain

‫ﻁ ُﺭ‬
‫ﺴ ﹶﺘ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻏﺩَﺍ ُﻴ ﹾﺘﻠﹶﻰ َﻭ ُﻴ‬
‫ﻑ ﹶ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ْﺭ‬
َ ‫َﻭ ﹸﻜلﱢ‬ ‫ﻕ‬
ٍ ‫ﻥ َﻭ َﺭ‬
ْ ‫ﺸﺠَﺎ ُﺭ ِﻤ‬
‫ﻷﹾ‬َ‫ﺕﺍ‬
ِ ‫ﺤ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ َﻤﺎ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
wa kulli ĥarfin ghada yutlā wa yustaťaru Wa ‘adda mā ĥawatil ashjāru min
And by the number of leaves that are carried by trees, and every letter ever to be uttered, read, and scribed

‫ﺸ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻙ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﺒ ﹶ‬
ُ‫ﻼ‬‫ﻷ ْﻤ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻥ َﻭﺍ‬
‫ﺠﱡ‬ِْ ‫َﻴِﻠﻴ ﹺﻬ ُﻡ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻙ َﻤ ْﻊ ﹶﻨﻌَﻡﹴ‬
ُ ‫ﺴﻤَﺎ‬
ْ‫ﻷ‬َ ‫ﺵ َﻭﺍﻟﻁﱠـ ْﻴ ُﺭ َﻭﺍ‬
‫ﺤ ﹸ‬
ْ ‫َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻭ‬
yalīhimul jinnu wal amlāku wal basharu Wal waĥshu wať ťayru wal asmāku ma’ na’amin
And (by the number) of beasts, birds, fish and animals, and the jinn, the angels and humans

‫ﺵ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻭ َﺒ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻷ ْﺭﻴَﺎ ﹸ‬
َ ‫ﻑ َﻭﺍ‬
‫َﻭﺍﻟﺸﱠ ْﻌ ُﺭ ﻭﺍﻟﺼﱡﻭ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺏ ﹶﻜﺫﹶﺍ‬
‫ﺤﺒُﻭ ﹺ‬
ُ ‫ﺠ ْﻤ ﹺﻊ ﺍ ﹾﻟ‬
َ ‫ل َﻤ ْﻊ‬
ُ ‫ﻭَﺍﻟ ﱠﺫ ﱡﺭ ﻭﺍﻟﻨﱠ ْﻤ‬
wash sha’ru waš šūfu wal aryāshu wal wabaru Wadh dharru wan namlu ma’ jam’il ĥubūbi kadhā
And (by the number) of dusk specks, ants and seeds, and hairs, wool, feathers and fur

‫ﺠﺭَﻯ ﹺﺒ ِﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻘﹶﻠ ُﻡ ﺍ ﹾﻟﻤَﺄﻤُﻭ ُﺭ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ َﺩ ُﺭ‬


َ ‫ﻁ َﻭﻤَﺎ‬
‫ﻁ ﹺﺒ ِﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ِﻌ ﹾﻠ ُﻡ ﺍ ﹾﻟﻤُﺤ ِﻴ ﹸ‬
‫َﻭ َﻤﺎ َﺃﺤَﺎ ﹶ‬
jarā bihil qalamul ma-mūru wal qadaru Wa mā aĥāťa bihil ‘ilmul muĥīťu wa mā
And by whatever has been encompassed by the Ocean of Knowledge, and by whatever has been written by the Pen, and by whatever has been decreed

‫ﺸ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
ِ‫ﺤ‬ُ ‫ﻕ ُﻤ ﹾﺫ ﹶﻜﺎ ﹸﻨﻭﺍ َﻭ ُﻤ ﹾﺫ‬
ِ ‫ﻼ ِﺌ‬
‫ﺨﹶ‬
‫ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺕ ﹺﺒ َﻬﺎ‬
‫ﻼ ِﺘﻲ ﻤَ ﹶﻨ ﹾﻨ ﹶ‬
‫ﻙ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ ﹶﻨ ْﻌﻤَﺎ ِﺌ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
‘alāl khalāiqi mudhkānū wa mudhĥushirū Wa ‘adda na’māikal lātī Mananta bihā
And by the amount of the entire blessings You have endowed upon the creation from the time of their creation to the time of their resurrection

‫ﺨﺭُﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
‫ﻙ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻓ ﹶﺘ ﹶ‬
ُ‫ﻼ‬‫ﻷ ْﻤ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻥ َﻭﺍ‬
َ ‫ﹺﺒ ِﻪ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻨ ﹺﺒ ﱡﻴﻭ‬ ‫ﺕ‬
‫ﺸ ُﺭ ﹶﻓ ﹾ‬
‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ ِﻤ ﹾﻘﺩَﺍ ﹺﺭ ِﻩ ﺍﻟﺴﱠﺎﻤِﻲ ﺍﱠﻟ ِﺫﻱ ﹶ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
bihin Nabiyyūna wal Amlāku wa ftakharū Wa ‘adda miqdārihis sāmil ladhi sharufat
And by the magnitude of the Sublime (as Sami) that honoured the prophets and angels and gave them glory

‫ﺙ ﺍﻟﺼﱡ َﻭ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻥ ﹸﺘ ْﺒﻌَ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻥ ﺇِﹶﻟﻰ َﺃ‬
ُ ‫َﻭﻤَﺎ َﻴ ﹸﻜ ْﻭ‬ ‫ﺴ ﹶﻨﺩِﻱ‬
َ ‫ﻥ َﻴﺎ‬
‫ﻷ ﹾﻜ َﻭﺍ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﻥ ِﻓﻲ ﺍ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ ﻤَﺎ ﹶﻜﺎ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
wa mā yakūnu ilā an Tub’athaš šuwaru Wa ‘adda mā kāna fil akwāni Yā Sanadī
And by the number of what is found in the creations, O my Helper, and by what will be until the day of Judgement

‫ﻥ َﺃ ْﻭ َﻴ ﹶﺫﺭُﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
َ ‫ﻷ ْﺭﻀِﻴ‬
َ ‫ﺕ َﻭﺍ‬
ِ ‫ﺴ َﻤ َﻭﺍ‬
‫ل ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
ُ ‫َﺃ ْﻫ‬ ‫ﻥ ﹺﺒ َﻬﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻁ ﹺﺭ ﹸﻓﻭ‬
‫ﻥ َﻴ ﹾ‬
‫ﻋ ْﻴ ﹴ‬
َ ِ‫ﻁ ْﺭ ﹶﻓﺔ‬
‫ِﻓﻲ ﹸﻜلﱢ ﹶ‬
ahlus samāwāti wal arđīna aw yadharū Fī kulli ťarfati ‘aynin yaťrifūna bihā
And with every movement of the blinking eyes in the heavens and the Earth, and in their moments of stillness

‫ﺼﺭُﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺤ‬
َ ‫ﺵ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹸﻜ ْﺭﺴِﻲ َﻭ َﻤﺎ‬
‫ﺵ َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻌ ْﺭ ﹺ‬
‫َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ْﺭ ﹺ‬ ‫ل‬
ٍ ‫ﺠ َﺒ‬
َ ‫ﻥ َﻤ ْﻊ‬
َ ‫ﻷ ْﺭﻀِﻴ‬
َ ‫ﺕ َﻭﺍ‬
ِ ‫ﺴ َﻤ َﻭﺍ‬
‫ل َﺀ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
ْ ‫ِﻤ‬
wal Farshi wal ‘Arshi wal Kursī wa mā ĥašarū Mil-as samāwāti wal arđīna ma’ jabalin
Filling the heavens and the Earth including the mountains,, and the lands, the Throne, the Footstool and whatever they encompass

‫ﻼ ﹰﺓ َﺩﻭَﺍﻤﹰﺎ ﹶﻟ ْﻴﺱَ ﹶﺘ ﹾﻨﺤَﺼِ ُﺭ‬


‫ﺩُﻭ َﻤﹰﺎ ﺼَ ﹶ‬ ‫ﷲ َﻤ ْﻭﺠُﻭﺩﹰﺍ َﻭَﺃ ْﻭﺠَﺩَ َﻤﻌْـ‬
ُ ‫ﻋﺩَﻡَ ﺍ‬
ْ ‫ﻤَﺎ َﺃ‬
dūman šalātan dawāman laysa tanĥaširu Mā a’damaLlāhu mawjūdan wa awjada ma’
And (by the number) of what Allah has made to perish and the non-existent to exist, with an everlasting blessing that remains with no end

‫ﻻ ﹶﺘ ﹶﺫ ُﺭ‬
َ ‫ﻻ ﹸﺘ ْﺒﻘِﻲ َﻭ‬
‫ﻁ ﺒﹺﺎ ﹾﻟﺤَـ ﱢﺩ ﹶ‬
‫ﹸﺘﺤِﻴ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺠ ْﻤ ﹺﻊ ﺍﻟ ﱡﺩﻫُﻭ ﹺﺭ ﹶﻜﻤَﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻕ ﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻌ ﱠﺩ َﻤ ْﻊ‬
‫ﺴ ﹶﺘ ﹾﻐ ﹺﺭ ﹸ‬
ْ ‫ﹶﺘ‬
Tuĥīťu bil ĥaddi lā tubqī wa lā tadharu Tastaghriqul ‘adda ma’ jam’id duhūri kamā
And which endures the number of all eras, just like its encompassing of all limits that do not last or remain

‫ﻻ ﹶﻟﻬَﺎ َﺃﻤَـ ٌﺩ ُﻴ ﹾﻘﻀَﻰ ﹶﻓﻴُـ ْﻌ ﹶﺘ َﺒ ُﺭ‬


‫َﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻋﻅِﻴ ُﻡ ﹶﻟﻬَﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻻ ﻏﹶﺎ َﻴ ﹰﺔ ﻭﺍ ﹾﻨ ِﺘﻬَﺎ ًﺀ ﻴَﺎ‬
‫ﹶ‬
wa lā lahā amadun yuqđā fa yu’tabaru Lā ghāyata wantihā-an Yā ‘Adhīmu lahā
May it have no end or limitation, O most Great, nor a period that is concluded or contained

‫ﻥ ﹶﻟ ُﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ َﺩ ُﺭ‬
ْ ‫ﻀﻌَﺎ ِﻓ ِﻪ َﻴﺎ َﻤ‬
ْ ‫ﻑ َﺃ‬
ِ ‫ﻀ ْﻌ‬
ِ ‫َﻤ ْﻊ‬ ‫ﻋ َﺩ ٍﺩ‬
َ ‫ﻥ‬
ْ ‫ﻑ َﻤﺎ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ َﻤ ﱠﺭ ِﻤ‬
ِ ‫ﻀﻌَﺎ‬
ْ ‫ﻋ ﱠﺩ َﺃ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
ma’ đ’ifi ađ’āfihi Yā Man Lahul Qadaru Wa ‘adda ađ’āfi mā qad marra min ‘adadin
And
ِ double the amount of what has been enumerated, double (again) and multiplied, O the One who is most Able

‫ﺕ ُﻤ ﹾﻘ ﹶﺘ ِﺩ ُﺭ‬
‫ﺼﻠﱢﻲ َﺃ ﹾﻨ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻥ ﹸﻨ‬
ْ ‫َﺃﻤَ ْﺭ ﹶﺘ ﹶﻨﺎ َﺃ‬ ‫ﺴ ﱢﻴ ِﺩﻱ َﻭ ﹶﻜﻤَﺎ‬
َ ‫ﺤﺏﱡ َﻭ ﹶﺘ ْﺭﻀَﻰ‬
ِ ‫ﹶﻜﻤَﺎ ﹸﺘ‬
Amartanā an nušallī Anta Muqtadiru Kamā Tuĥibbu wa Tarđā Sayyidī wa kamā
In a manner the You like and that pleases my master, and in the way that you have commanded us to invoke (upon him), indeed You are most Able

‫ﺸ ُﺭ‬
ِ ‫ل ُﻤ ﹾﻨ ﹶﺘ‬
ُ‫ﻀ‬ْ ‫ﻋ ﹾﻔ ُﻬﻤَﺎ ﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ‬
ِ ‫ﻀﺎ‬
َ ‫ﺏ َﻭ‬
‫َﺭ ﱢ‬ ‫ﻋ َﺩ ٍﺩ‬
َ ‫ﻥ‬
ْ ‫ﻼ ﹺﻡ ﹶﻜﻤَﺎ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ َﻤ ﱠﺭ ِﻤ‬
‫ﺴﹶ‬
‫َﻤ َﻊ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
Rabbī wa đā’ifhumā wal fađlu muntashiru Ma’as salāmi kamā qad marra min ‘adadin
(And send these blessings) with peace, by the number of all that has been enumerated by my Lord, and double this, the blessing are spread far and wide

ْ ‫ﻥ ﹶﻗﻠﱡﻭ ﹾﺍ َﻭِﺇ‬
ْ ‫ﺨ ﹾﻠﻘِﻙَ ِﺇ‬
‫ﺱ ﹶ‬
‫َﺃ ﹾﻨ ﹶﻔﺎ ﹺ‬ ‫ﻙ ِﻓﻲ‬
َ ‫ﺤ ﱢﻘ‬
َ ‫ﺏ ﹺﺒ‬
ٌ ‫ﻀ ُﺭﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﻙ َﻤ‬
َ ‫ُﻭ ﹸﻜلﱡ ﹶﺫِﻟ‬
anfāsi Khalqika in qallū wa in kathurū Wa kullu dhālika mađrūbun bi Ĥaqqika fī
And all that we have said, multiply it, by your Truth, in the breaths of your creation whether it be much or a little

‫ﻀ ُﺭﻭ ﹾﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺤ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ِﻤﻴﻌﹰﺎ َﺃ ْﻴ ﹶﻨﻤَﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻥ‬
َ ‫ﺴِﻠ ِﻤﻴ‬
ْ ‫َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ ُﻤ‬ ‫ﻏ ِﻔ ْﺭ ﻟِ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹺﺭﻴﻬَﺎ َﻭﺴَﺎ ِﻤ ِﻌﻬَﺎ‬
‫ﺏ َﻭﺍ ﹾ‬
‫َﻴﺎ َﺭ ﱢ‬
wal Muslimīna jamī’an aynamā ĥađarū Yā Rabbi wa ghfir li qārīhā wa sāmi’ihā
O my Lord, forgive the reader (of this poem) and its listener, and all the Muslims wherever they may be

‫ﺴﱢﻴ ِﺩﻱ ِﻟ ﹾﻠ َﻌ ﹾﻔ ﹺﻭ ُﻤ ﹾﻔ ﹶﺘ ِﻘ ُﺭ‬


َ ‫َﻭ ﹸﻜﱡﻠﻨﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﺠﻴ َﺭ ِﺘﻨﹶﺎ‬
‫َﻭ َﻭﺍِﻟ ِﺩﻴ ﹶﻨﺎ َﻭَﺃ ْﻫﻠِﻴﻨﹶﺎ َﻭ ﹺ‬
wa kullunā sayyidī lil ‘afwi muftaqiru Wa wālidīnā wa ahlīnā wa jīratinā
And (forgive) our parents, our families and our neighbours, and all of us, O my Master, we are in need of your forgiveness

‫ﻻ َﻴ ﹶﺫ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻻ ُﻴ ْﺒﻘِﻲ َﻭ ﹶ‬
‫ﻙ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻋ ﹾﻔ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻥ‬
‫ﹶﻟ ِﻜ ﱠ‬ ‫ﻻ ﻋِـﺩَﺍ َﺩ ﹶﻟﻬَﺎ‬
‫ﺕ ﹸﺫ ﹸﻨﻭﺒﹰﺎ ﹶ‬
‫َﻭ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ َﺃ ﹶﺘ ْﻴ ﹸ‬
lākinna ‘Afwaka lā yubqī wa lā yadharu Wa qad ataytu dhunūban lā ‘idāda laha
I have come with countless amount of sin, but your forgiveness is not despaired of, or abandoned

‫ﺴ ُﺭ‬
ِ ‫ﺏ ُﻤ ﹾﻨ ﹶﻜ‬
ُ ‫ﻀ ٌﻊ ﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﹾﻠ‬
ِ ‫ﺨﺎ‬
‫َﻭِﺇ ﱠﻨ ِﻨﻰ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺸ ﹶﻐﹶﻠﻨِﻲ‬
‫ﻥ ﹸﻜلﱢ َﻤﺎ َﺃ ْﺒﻐِﻴ ِﻪ َﺃ ﹾ‬
ْ‫ﻋ‬
َ ‫َﻭﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻬ ﱡﻡ‬
wa innani khāđi’un wal qalbu munkasiru Wal hammu ‘an kulli mā abghīhi ashghalanī
I am distressed for things I am in need of it, it overwhelms me and my heart is broken

‫ﺠ ُﺭ‬
َ‫ﺤ‬َ ‫ﺢ ﺍ ﹾﻟ‬
َ ‫ﺴﱠﺒ‬
َ ‫ﻥ ِﻓﻲ َﻴ َﺩ ْﻴ ِﻪ‬
ْ ‫ﺠﺎ ِﻩ َﻤ‬
َ ‫ﹺﺒ‬ ‫ﻥ ﹶﺘ ْﺭﺤَ ُﻤ ﹶﻨﺎ‬
‫ﺏ ِﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﱠﺍ َﺭ ْﻴ ﹺ‬
‫ﻙ َﻴﺎ َﺭ ﱢ‬
َ ‫َﺃ ْﺭﺠُﻭ‬
Bi Jāhi man fī yadayhi sabbaĥal ĥajaru Arjūka Yā Rabbi fīd dārayni Tarĥamunā
I beg You, O Lord in both worlds to have mercy on us, By him who the stones exalted (Allah) in his hands

‫ﺼ ُﺭ‬
ِ ‫ﺤ‬
َ ‫ﺤ ٌﺭ ﹶﻟ ْﻴﺱَ َﻴ ﹾﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﻙ َﺒ‬
َ ‫ﺠﻭ َﺩ‬
ُ ‫ﻥ‬
‫ﹶﻓِﺈ ﱠ‬ ‫ﻅ ْﻡ ﹶﻟ ﹶﻨﺎ َﺃﺠْﺭﹰﺍ َﻭ َﻤ ﹾﻐ ِﻔ َﺭ ﹰﺓ‬
ِ‫ﻋ‬
ْ ‫ﺏ َﺃ‬
‫ﻴَﺎ َﺭ ﱢ‬
fa inna Jūdaka Baĥrun laysa yanĥaširu Yā Rabbi a’dhim lanā ajran wa maghfiratan
O Lord increase the good (favour upon us) and forgive us, for indeed Your Generosity is an ocean unlimted

‫ﺕ ُﻤ ﹾﻘ ﹶﺘ ِﺩ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻋﻨﱠﺎ َﺃ ﹾﻨ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺏ‬
َ ‫َﻭ ﹶﻓ ﱢﺭﺝﹺ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻜ ْﺭ‬ ‫ﻕ ﻀﺎ ِﺌ ﹶﻘ ﹲﺔ‬
‫ﻼﹸ‬
‫ﺨﹶ‬
‫ﻷﹾ‬َ ‫ﺽ ُﺩ ُﻴﻭﻨﹰﺎ ﹶﻟﻬَﺎ ﺍ‬
‫َﻭﺍ ﹾﻗ ﹺ‬
wa farrijil karba ‘annā Anta Muqtadiru Wa qđi duyūnan lahal akhlāqu đāiqatun
And alleviate the anxieties of a distressing nature, and relieve us of sorrow, You are Most Noble

‫ل ﹶﺘ ﹾﻨﺤَﺴِ ُﺭ‬
ُ ‫ﻷ ْﻫﻭَﺍ‬
َ ‫ﻼ ﹺﺒ ِﻪ ﺍ‬
‫ﺠ ِﻤﻴ ﹰ‬
َ ‫ﹸﻟﻁﹾﻔﹰﺎ‬ ٍ‫ﻥ ﹶﻟﻁِﻴﻔﹰﺎ ﺒﹺ ﹶﻨﺎ ِﻓﻲ ﹸﻜلﱢ ﹶﻨﺎﺯﹺﹶﻟﺔ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ ﹸﻜ‬
Luťfan jamīlan bihil ahwālu tanĥasiru Wa kun laťīfan binā fī kulli nāzilatin
And be kind to us in every moment, a beautiful kindness by which distress is no more

‫ﺤ ِﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﱡ َﻭ ُﺭ‬
ِ ‫ﺕ ِﻓﻲ َﻤ ْﺩ‬
‫ﻼﹶﻟﺔﹰ ﹶﻨﺯَﹶﻟ ﹾ‬
‫ﺠَ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻥ‬
ْ ‫ﺨ ْﻴﺭﹺ ﺍﻷَﻨﺎﻡﹺ َﻭ َﻤ‬
‫ﺠ ﹶﺘﺒَﻰ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻁﻔﹶﻰ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ُﻤ‬
‫ﺼﹶ‬ْ ‫ﺒﹺﺎ ﹾﻟ ُﻤ‬
Jalālatan nazalat fī madĥihis suwaru Bil Musťafā al-Mujtabā Khayril anāmi wa man
By Mustafa, The Chosen One, the best of creation. In his honour chapters of praise were revealed

‫ﺸﻊَ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ َﻤ ُﺭ‬
‫ﺸ ْﻌ ﹶ‬
‫ﺱ ﺍﻟﱠﻨ َﻬﺎ ﹺﺭ َﻭ َﻤﺎ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ ﹶ‬
ُ ‫ﺸ ْﻤ‬
‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﺕ‬
‫ﻁﹶﻠﻌَ ﹾ‬
‫ﺨ ﹶﺘﺎ ﹺﺭ َﻤﺎ ﹶ‬
‫ﻋﹶﻠﻰ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ُﻤ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ﻼ ﹸﺓ‬
‫ﺼﹶ‬
‫ﹸﺜﻡﱠ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
Shamsun nahāri wa mā qad sha’sha’al qamaru Thummaš šalātu ‘alāl Mukhtāri mā ťala’at
And blessing be upon the chosen one for as long as the sun rises and the moon shines

‫ﻥ ﻴَ ﹾﻨ ﹶﺘﺼِ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻥ َﺒ ْﻌ ِﺩ ِﻩ ِﻟﻠﺩﱢﻴ ﹺ‬
ْ ‫ﻥ ﹶﻗﺎ َﻡ ِﻤ‬
ْ ‫َﻤ‬ ِ‫ﺨﻠِﻴ ﹶﻔﺘِﻪ‬
‫ﻥ َﺃﺒﹺﻲ َﺒ ﹾﻜ ﹴﺭ ﹶ‬
ْ‫ﻋ‬َ ‫ﹸﺜﻡﱠ ﺍﻟ ﱢﺭﻀَﻰ‬
man qāma min ba’dihi lid Dīni yantaširu Thummar Riđā ‘an Abī Bakrin Khalīfatihi
And blessing be upon Abu Bakr, his caliph, who maintained the religion after him victoriously

‫ﻋ َﻤ ُﺭ‬
ُ ‫ﺤ ﹶﻜﺎ ِﻤ ِﻪ‬
ْ ‫ل ِﻓﻲ َﺃ‬
ُ‫ﺼ‬ْ ‫ﻥ ﻗﹶﻭﻟﹸ ُﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ‬
ْ ‫َﻤ‬ ‫ﺤ ﹺﺒ ِﻪ‬
ِ ‫ﺼﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻕ‬
ِ ‫ﺹ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶﻔﺎ ُﺭﻭ‬
‫ﺤ ﹾﻔ ﹴ‬
َ ‫ﻥ َﺃﺒﹺﻲ‬
ْ‫ﻋ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
man qawluhul fašlu fī aĥkāmihi ‘Umaru Wa ‘an Abī Ĥafšin al-Fārūqi Šāĥibihi
And upon Abu Hafsa, Al Faruq, his companion Umar who had the final word by his judgement

‫ﻥ ِﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺩﱠﺍ َﺭ ْﻴ ﹺ‬

ِ ‫ﺤﺎ‬
َ ‫ﹶﻟ ُﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻤ‬ ‫ﺕ‬
‫ﻥ ﹶﻜ ُﻤﹶﻠ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﻥ َﻤ‬
‫ﻥ ﺫِﻱ ﺍﻟﻨﱡﻭﺭَﻴ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ْﺩ ِﻟ ُﻌ ﹾﺜ َﻤﺎ‬
ُ ‫َﻭ‬
lahul maĥāsinu fid dārayni wadh dhafaru Wa Jud li ‘Uthmāna Dhin Nūrayni man kamulat
And love for Uthman the possessor of two lights upon whom perfected was goodness and victory in the two abodes

‫ﺨ َﺒ ُﺭ‬
‫ﺠﺎﺀَ ﹶﻨﺎ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ل ﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻌﺒَﺎ ِﺀ ﹶﻜﻤَﺎ ﹶﻗ ْﺩ‬
ُ ‫َﺃ ْﻫ‬ ‫ﻲ َﻤ َﻊ ﺍ ْﺒ ﹶﻨﻴْـ ِﻪ َﻭُﺃ ﱢﻤ ﹺﻬ َﻤﺎ‬
‫ﻋِﻠ ﱡ‬
َ ‫ﹶﻜﺫﹶﺍ‬
Ahlul ‘Abāi kamā qad jāanal khabaru Kadhā ‘Aliyyun ma’a Bnayhi wa Ummihimā
And upon Ali with his two sons and upon their mother, the people of the mantle as has been related in the hadith

‫ﻏـ َﺭ ُﺭ‬
‫ﺴـﺎ َﺩ ﹲﺓ ﹸ‬
َ ‫ـ ٌﺭ‬
ْ ‫ﻋ َﺒ ْﻴ َﺩ ٍﺓ َﻭ ُﺯﺒَﻴ‬
ُ ‫ﺤ ﹲﺔ َﻭﺃَﺒﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻁ ﹾﻠ‬
‫ﻑ ﹶ‬
ٍ ‫ﻋ ْﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻥ‬
ُ ‫ﺴ ِﻌ ْﻴ ُﺩ ﺍ ْﺒ‬
َ ‫ﺴ ْﻌ ٌﺩ‬
َ
‘Ubaydatin wa Zubayrun sādatun ghuraru Sa’dun Sa’iīdu Bnu ‘Awfin Ťalĥatun wa Abū
And upon Sa’d and Sa’id son of Auf, Talha, Abu, Ubayda and Zubayr, Master of the best (of people)

‫ﺕ ﹺﺒ ِﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ ِﻐ َﻴ ُﺭ‬
‫ﻥ ﺯَﺍﹶﻟ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﺤ ْﺒ ُﺭ َﻤ‬
َ ‫ﺠﻠﹸ ُﻪ ﺍ ﹾﻟ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ ﹶﻨ‬ ‫ﺴ ﱢﻴ ُﺩﻨﹶـﺎ‬
َ ‫ﺱ‬
ُ ‫ﺤ ْﻤ َﺯ ﹲﺓ َﻭ ﹶﻜﺫﹶﺍ ﺍ ﹾﻟ َﻌﺒﱠـﺎ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
wa Najluhu al-Ĥabru man zālat bihil ghiyaru Wa Ĥamzatun wa kadhā al-‘Abbāsu Sayyidunā
And upon Hamza and our Master Abbas, and upon his son, the scholar through him obscurities were no more

‫ﺤ ُﺭ‬
َ ‫ل ﺍﻟ ﱠﺩ َﻴﺎﺠﹺﻲ َﺃ ْﻭ َﺒﺩَﺍ ﺍﻟﺴﱠ‬
ُ ‫ﻥ ﹶﻟ ْﻴ‬
‫ﺠﱠ‬
َ ‫َﻤﺎ‬ ‫ﻁ َﺒ ﹰﺔ‬
ِ ‫ﻉ ﹶﻗﺎ‬
ُ ‫ﻷ ﹾﺘﺒَﺎ‬
َ ‫ﺏ َﻭﺍ‬
ُ ‫ﺤ‬
ْ ‫ل َﻭﺍﻟﺼﱠ‬
ُ‫ﻵ‬َ ‫َﻭﺍ‬
mā janna laylud dayājī aw badas saĥaru Wal Ālu waš Šaĥbu wal Atbā’u qāťibatan
And upon all the family and the companions and followers. For as long as the dark night covers the day, and the appearances of dawn
