Machining tolerance:- Tolerance of (-) 1.00 mm on ID and (+) 1.00 mm on OD
Terms & Conditions are as follows:
Vendor's Scope :
1) Shall supply, erect and commission the turning Machines along with the accessories at Tayo's designated site for
machining of forged / cast & Engg forging blanks.
2) All machines to be erected and commissioned at designated place at Tayo site.
3) Shall take 2 to 3 weeks from the date of Work Order for mobilization, commissioning and start production. Capacity- 250
MT in 2 phases. 1st phase : for approximate 100 MT and 2nd phase additional 150 MT by 4 weeks after phase one.
4) All incoming material shall be on "Goods Returnable Basis" and their records to be maintained.
5) Shall work in three shifts if required.
6) Shall depute trained personal in his payroll to accomplish contract job and desired output.
7) All tools and tackles complete with other consumables shall be in scope of vendor.
8) Complete maintenance and up keep of machines will be in scope of vendor.
9) Shall comply with all statutory government norms for example PF/ESI/Labour License etc.( as advised by Tayo's
Personnel Dept.). You have to submit documentary proof of the same.
10) All personnel working at Tayo shall abide discipline and rules.
11) All personnel shall wear blue uniform and all other required safety equipments (PPE) while on duty. They have to carry
Gate Pass at all the times while on duty.
12) In the event of any in-disciplinary activities, Gate Pass shall be ceased and appropriate action would be initiated.
13) In case of absenteeism of personnel, alternative arrangement is to be provided.
14)The contractor will machine the blank as per drawing issued by Tayo planning department and the machined blank will
be accepted only after quality certification by Tayo's Quality assurance department.
15) Tayo shall bear total cost of Power consumed for subject operations.
16) In the event of any wrong machining, appropriate amount shall be deducted as decided by Tayo's deviation committee.
17) Minimum Tonnage Guaranteed for Finish Weight per month will be applicable subject to continuous feeding by Tayo.
18) The contractual rate shall remain firm for two years from the date of Work Order and shall be renegotiated after
completion of Two years.
19)Shall keep area around Work place clean on regular basis and shall transfer the generated scrap to designated place.
However, Tayo will provide Crane with magnet and dumper services for transfer of the scrap free of cost.
Tayo's Scope:
1) To provide space for installation of machines, free of rental.
2) Power connection and power free of cost.
3) Overhead Crane facility to be provided as per the requirement.
4) General illumination in working area shall be provided by Tayo.
5) In case of any accident only first aid facility will be provided by Tayo.
6) To provide forged / Cast blanks (after end cutting) on time.

7) To provide designated place for storing of Chips.
8) All required drawings, work instructions, material issue and finish records etc. to be provided / maintained by Planning.
Payment terms:
Payable to you after 15 days from date of submission of duly certified bills from tayo's Planning department for previous
month on finished weight of products as per drawing.
Penalties for missed services :
In case of unsatisfactory performance found during the weekly joint inspection by Tayo's Planning department &
vender#s representative, 5% of the total amount of that particular week will be deducted from the monthly bill.

Temporary Suspension and Cancellation of Contract:


Tayo may at any time temporarily stop the work being executed under the Contract or any part thereof by notice in
writing to the Contractor. All works so stopped shall be resumed by the Contractor based on a schedule to be mutually
agreed upon between the Tayo and the Contractor.
The Tayo will not pay the Contractor for any supply/work , which is executed during such suspension and the Employer shall
not be liable to the Contractor for any damages or loss caused by such suspension of work.
Cancellation or Termination of Contract:
Without prejudice to clauses concerning Force majeure and Arbitration hereof and to any other remedy available, the
Employer at its option, may cancel the Contract at any time by simple written notice to the Contractor in case of
Contractor#s non-compliance with and has breached its undertakings under the Contract/ Order and more specifically in
case any of the following circumstances occurs.
1) Unjustified interruption of contractual services by the Contractor including delays and/ or failure to maintain delivery
schedule of plant and equipment, designs and drawings and other supplies or completion of work as agreed to.
2) Errors, negligence, insufficiencies in the contractual work under execution or failure to supply required materials as per
specification or manpower or in other similar circumstances affecting the quality of work for reason attributable to the
Contractor.
3) In any of the cases described above, the Employer shall inform the Contractor of its decision to cancel the Contract/
Order or to terminate the Contractor's services, in whole or part under it, specifying in such notice the reason or the basis for
this decision. The Contractor shall within fifteen (15) days from the above notice of default, correct such default or satisfies
the Employer regarding the action taken by him for the corrective action, failing which the Employer at his option will cancel
the Contract/Order forthwith. On such an event the Contractor shall immediately stop all work in connection with the
Contract/ Order, except as directed by the Employer. In such case, the Employer shall be at liberty to contract with other
parties or to perform with his own personnel those supplies/ services.
