First Choice aim to provide the very best delivery service for your urgent
parts so items are carefully packaged and orders for stock items
received before 5.00pm are shipped by an overnight service for next
day delivery to the majority of UK mainland addresses.
If our standard next day service is not quick enough then we are open
from 8.30am to 5.30pm Mondays to Fridays and 8.30am to 12.30pm on
Saturdays for collections from our Trade Counter and we can offer at a
small premium the following services which will cater for any eventuality:
Standard Next Day before 6.00pm
Next Day before 10.30 am guaranteed
Next Day before 12.00 noon guaranteed
Saturday morning 8.00am to 12.00 noon
ByBox Next Day delivery before 8.00am
Returns
Spares can only be returned following authorisation from First Choice Catering Spares Ltd and within 30
days of invoice date. Credits will be issued on stock lines and defective items. No specially ordered parts
can be returned unless proven to be faulty. All credits will be subject to a 25% restocking charge unless
otherwise agreed. See overleaf for full details of our returns procedure.
General
First Choice is not responsible for the installation of the spares supplied, which must always be fitted by
a competent person.

Returns Procedure
Before any part can be returned an authorised returns number is to be obtained; failure to obtain a returns number
may result in the part being refused for credit and returned back to you.
Returns numbers will not be issued after 30 calendar days (from invoice date) unless the item to be returned is a
warranty claim. Once a returns number has been issued all parts need to be returned within 14 days; No credits
will be issued after this period.
Faulty Parts
the following information may be required
Warranty on all parts is dependant on the manufacturers policy; this may be between 3 and 12 months.
(Please contact us for the correct warranty period for any faulty parts).
Date that the part was fitted and when it failed.
All faulty parts must be returned with a detailed engineers report explaining the fault.
Confirmation that the part was fitted by a qualified engineer trained to work on the manufacturers equipment.
Damaged Parts
First Choice Catering Spares must be notified within 24 hours on receipt of all damaged parts. All damaged
parts need to be returned in their original packaging.
Parts that are No Longer Required
A re-stocking charge of 25% will be applied for all stock items; however parts that need to be returned to
their respective manufacturers may have a different re-stocking charge.
Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) will not be accepted back for credit, unless agreed with First Choice.
Special order items will not be accepted back for credit.*
Duplicated Orders
Duplicated orders due to First Choice Catering Spares will be issued with a full credit.
Duplicated orders that are customer errors will be subject to a 25% re-stocking charge for stock items; however
parts that need to be returned to their respective manufacturers may have a different re-stocking charge.
Special order items will not be accepted back for credit.*
Picking Errors
All picking errors must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of order, full credit will be issued where necessary.
Incorrectly Ordered Parts

All information on the appliance, including model and serial number to verify the information given.
Who provided the parts information, First Choice, Manufacturer etc. and how it was requested i.e. fax,
telephone or email.
If First Choice provided the part information our enquiry number must be provided. Failure to provide this
may result in a 25% restocking charge being applied, as we will assume that we didnt provide you with
the part information. (All customers quoted part information by First Choice will be issued with an enquiry
number).
*Special Order items: are non-stock items, or items that cannot be returned to our suppliers. It is recommended
that you check the return status of parts when ordering.
