ABOUT IEEE
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE, pronounced I triple E) is a worlds
largest technical professional association, dedicated to advancing innovation and
technological excellence for the benefit of humanity. It is designed to serve professionals
involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic, and computing fields and related areas
of science and technology that underlie modern civilization. IEEE and its members influences

a global community through IEEE's highly cited publications, conferences, technology

standards, and professional and educational activities. It was formed in 1963 from the
amalgamation of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers.
Today, it is the world's largest association of technical professionals with more than 430,000
members in chapters around the world.

IEEE-NEDUET STUDENT BRANCH:

IEEE Student Branch of NED University of Engineering & Technology was founded on 10
June, 1983, and is one of the oldest student branches in Karachi. IEEE-NED Student Branch
with its dignified and prominent customs presents a stage for pioneering folks to express and
market their ideas and thoughts. It has very impressively conducted seminars, workshops, and
conferences for probing scholars of NEDUET.

ABOUT THE AAGHAZ

IEEE NEDUET SB is organizing an event named, AAGHAZ, focusing mainly to offer a
platform to those students who have started to work on their technological ideas and want to
publicize and market their products and get a chance to meet with the other entrepreneurs to
enhance and get new ideas to build their projects. The aim of this event is to offer an
opportunity to the startups to present their creative models and products and get judged by
critics and being assisted in lifting their innovative ideas to the new era of success. The event
will comprise of groups presenting their prototypes and products to entrepreneurial mentors.
Then the best one in them may get one month access to IBA incubation Centre too.

Objectives:
Providing a platform for the startups to market their models and products to other creative
entrepreneurs.
Encouraging startups to continue to work on their innovative ideas in a better way.
Offering a platform to meet with the other creative engineers and have a fruitful discussion
and exchange of revolutionary ideas.
Providing critical judgment to their work so that they may continue the innovative work in
an improved manner.
The best one among them may get one month access to IBA incubation Center.
