Course Objectives: Housekeeping practicals will help students to
understand the various housekeeping operations like standards of
cleanliness, area planning, inventory control , staffing , budgeting , colour
schemes etc which are used in hotel industry.
Course Learning Outcome: After studying the subject the student
will be able to understand the standards of cleanliness, cleaning agents ,
how to area planning for rooms, making duty roasters, drawing budget for
linen and consumables, drawing up the colour wheel and how to purchase
linens.
