Significant Detours, Service Disruptions

Sat., Apr. 30, 2016, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Kentucky Derby Festival Mini Marathon/Marathon
Due to the above event, every TARC route except one (#82 in S. IN) will be on detour or not
operating, with limited service in the core downtown Louisville area nearly all day.
There will be no service on circulator routes: Main-Market and Fourth Street ZeroBus and the
Downtown Medical Circulator. The following routes will be on detours: #2, 4, 6, 12, 15, 17, 18, 19,
21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 40, 43, 63, 71, & 72. Detours will not be reflected on the Google Maps trip

Not In Service: Fourth St. and Main/Market ZeroBus Routes and the Medical Center
Circulator.

Rt. # 2 Second Street
Northbound: All stops on Crittenden Dr. from Eastern Pkwy to airport; all stops on Second Street
from Lee to Oak.
Southbound: Stops on 1st St. between Oak St. and Hill St and stops from Crittenden Dr. and
Eastern Parkway to the airport terminal.
DOWNTOWN: On Fifth at Chestnut and at Muhammad Ali
Rt.# 4 Fourth Street
Northbound: On 3rd St. at Kenwood Dr. and at Southern Heights.
Southbound: All stops on 3rd street south of the Watterson Expressway.
DOWNTOWN: On Fifth at Chestnut and at Muhammad Ali
Rt. # 6 Sixth Street
Northbound: New Cut Rd. at Palatka Rd. and on 7th at Oak St.
Southbound: Regular stops from 7th St. at Hill St. between Taylor Blvd and Bluegrass Ave. and on
New Cut Rd. from Palatka Rd. to Outer Loop.
DOWNTOWN: On Fifth at Chestnut and at Muhammad Ali
Rt.# 12 Twelfth Street
North and southbound: Stops north of 22nd St. and Rowan St. and south of 12th St. and
Breckinridge St.
Rt. # 15 Market Street
Eastbound: Stops between Shawnee Park and Market St. at 22nd St., and all stops east of Market
St. at Brook Street.
Westbound: All stops to Jefferson St. at 1st St., and between 22nd St. and Shawnee Park.
DOWNTOWN: Market at Brook Street eastbound and Jefferson St. at 1st St. westbound.
Rts. # 17 and 40 Bardstown Rd. and Taylorsville Rd.
Eastbound: All stops between Bardstown Rd. at Grinstead Dr. to Fern Creek or Jeffersontown.

Rt.# 19 Muhammad Ali
Eastbound: All stops west of Chestnut St. and 22nd St.
Westbound: All stops east of Muhammad Ali Blvd. at 2nd St. and west of 22st St.
DOWNTOWN: Downtown stops eastbound will be on Chestnut at 8th, 7th and 6th Sts. and
westbound on Muhammad Ali at 2nd St.
Rt.# 21 Chestnut Street
Eastbound: All stops west of Chestnut St. and 22nd St. and east of Baxter Ave. at Eastern
Parkway.
Westbound: All stops from the end of route to Baxter Ave. at Eastern Pkwy., Muhammad Ali Blvd.
at Armory Place, 6th, 7th, 8th and Roy Wilkins, then all stops west of Muhammad Ali Blvd. at 22nd
St.
Downtown stops eastbound will be on Chestnut at 8th, 7th and 6th Sts. and westbound on
Muhammad Ali at 2nd St.
Rt. # 23 Broadway
Eastbound and Westbound: All stops west of Broadway and 18th St. and east of Grinstead Dr.
DOWNTOWN: Eastbound stop, Chestnut St. at 8th, 7th and 6th Sts; westbound on Jefferson St

Rt. # 25 Oak-Westport Crosstown

Rt. # 43 Popular Level
Southbound: All stops south of Kentucky Street and west of 22nd Street.
Northbound: All stops from Outer Loop Plaza to Logan St. at Mary St., and all stops west of
Portland at 23rd.
DOWNTOWN: eastbound will be on 1st St. at Market St. There are no downtown stops
westbound.
Rt. # 63 Crums Lane
Northbound and Southbound: All stops south of Seventh and Hill Sts.
DOWNTOWN: Stops on 5th St. at Chestnut St. and at Muhammad Ali Blvd.
Rt. # 71 - Jeffersonville-Louisville-New Albany
Eastbound and Westbound: All stops in New Albany and Jeffersonville except for stops in
Jeffersonville on Court Ave. west of Spring St.
DOWNTOWN: Eastbound stop on Liberty St at 7th and 6th Sts. and westbound on Jefferson at
