Analysis

The survey conducted using the Likert scale questionnaire. The total number of questionnaires
filled were 110 out of which two were discarded due to irrelevant selection of options which
dont support our study. The results of the questionnaires were put into the SPSS software and by
seeing those results we have analyzed that there were 57 Males and 51 Females who filled out
the questionnaires. Out of which 92 people were in the age group 18-25 whereas 14 people
belonged were between 26-30 age group and the rest were above 30. Here 29.6 % were the ones
having the education of intermediate and 57.4% were the graduates along with 10.2% of masters
degree and 2.8% were educated above masters level. Now moving towards the family monthly
income 30.6% people belonged to those families who have a monthly income of 25000-40000
whereas 31.5% have monthly family income of 41000-55000 that leaves 38% people to have
monthly family income of above 55000. Now coming to the first option that supports our study
to find out which Soap brand is actually popular among consumers. The Results have shown that
36.1% people use Dove soap and 31.5% people use Lux soap whereas 10.2% people use Cammy
soap and 10.2% people consume Capri Soap and in the end12% people consume Pears Soap.

As these results are available in cross tabular forms and in Bar graphs as well.

After the Demographic Questions now we move to the answers of the questions that were asked
in the questionnaire. Following are the Histograms, showing the results of every questions
answer in an ordered way.

The analysis has shown that people use Dove soaps excessively than other soap brands lux soap
comes second in the ranking. And people mostly agreed to the questions, they were asked to
answer in the survey questionnaire.

Conclusion
People responded positively to our questionnaires that we provided them to aid us in our research
on Soap brands. After seeing the response of the public about the soap brands usage in their
houses, we come to the following conclusions, Dove soap is the most popular among the general
public to which the questionnaire was distributed and Lux soap is the second most consumed
soap brand among the consumers and Pears soap comes third in the list. The whole research
concludes that people use their soap brands daily and they refer them to their friends and family
too and their relatives mostly use the same soap brands as well and their favorite soap brand
whichever it is, it offers economic prices that suites the consumers in a best way. Their soaps
have unique fragrance, color, shape and provides moisture to the skin and prove itself to be a
good soap for the user. The user finds himself loyal to his brand as he always prefer to purchase
his favorite brand whenever he buys soap that makes him to convey positive word of mouth for
the brand as he feels satisfied with the soap brand that he uses.
