WHAT IS HIGH BLOOD

PRESSURE?

Increased blood pressure is a chronic, in the long term


with blood pressure over 120/80 mmHg.
Hypertension can be defined as persistent blood
pressure where the pressure is above 140 mmHg
systolic and diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg.
Hypertension is high blood pressure or hypertension is
the medical term describes a situation where an
interruption in blood pressure regulation mechanism.

SYMPTOMS OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Headache
Neck pain
Hard to sleep
Fatigue

Nausea
Gag
Out of breath
Agitated
Blurred vision

ETIOLOGY

Essential hypertension (primary hypertension): no known cause.


Genetic: nerologi response to stress or abnormal excretion
Obesity: associated with high insulin levels

Loss of tissue elasticity and arterisklerosis parents and dilation of


blood vessels
Habits of life: a high salt intake, overeating, stress, smoking,
drinking alcohol
Secondary hypertension: is caused by other diseases.
Kidney: glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, acute tubular necrosis,
tumor
Vascular: Atherosclerosis, hyperplasia, thrombosis, aneurysm,
cholesterol embolism, vasculitis
Endocrine disorders: diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism
Nerve: Stroke, encephalitis
Medications: Corticosteroids
