SUGGESTIONS (by students) :


1. Better Job opportunities:
Focus on professional studies.
Government must check for brain drain.
2. A good education:
Lack of discipline among teachers and students.
Education beyond books must be encouraged.
Innovative teaching methods must be introduced.
Scholarships for studies with merit holders who cant afford expensive education.
The fee structure at various national institutes like IIT, IIM, NLU, NIFT etc must be

kept low.
Need for good teachers.
Moral education and physical education at schools must be made compulsory at
schools.

3. Better Healthcare:
Awareness programmes.
Keeping our own premises clean.
Cleanliness required in government hospitals.
Eating healthy food.
Must rely more on natural remedies for ailments.
Must avoid junk food.
Safe drinking can also ensure better health.
Regular and affordable checkup facilities at government hospitals.
Hospitals must be established in rural areas.
Good doctors are essentially required.
Medicines must be made available at cheaper rates.
4. Affordable and nutritious food:
A kitchen garden at home can help in this regard.
Reduced use of synthetic manure.
The food provided by the government via various Public Distribution schemes is
generally substandard. This must be checked.
Improvement in the menu and quality of midday meals served at schools.
People must make complains against adulterated food.
5. Support for people who cant work
The government must introduce more schemes like MNREGA.
Jobs must be created for those who are differently abled.

7. Access to clean water and sanitation:
Use of substandard pipes lead to damages in them, further leading to contaminated

water supply.
Rain water harvesting.
A better drainage system is duly required.
Consuming filtered water or, boiled water.

8. Reliable energy at home:


People who have domestic animals at home can use bio gas. The government must

run awareness programmes for this and help people install the same.
Check on electricity usage.

9. Action taken on climate change


Tree plantation may help in this regard.
Reduced use of ACs and refrigerators.
10. Protecting forests rivers and oceans:
Nationwide movement for planting more and more tress.
Recycling for the factory waste, so that it is not dumped in the rivers.
There should be system where people take permission from the government before
they cut trees.
11. An honest and responsive government:
No to bribery.
RTI has helped a lot in this regard.
Government officials must be easily accessible to the people.
Ministers/MPs/MLAs must be well educated.
Aiding government schemes.
Voters must vote prudently.
12. Better transport and roads:
Overloading in buses and other public transport lead to accidents.
Usually, the railway stations and bus stations are not in good conditions, the
government must look into this.
The transport system must connect villages to towns.
13. Protection against violence and crime:
Moral education should be made compulsory in schools.
Rehab for juveniles.
Joblessness and poverty also lead to certain crimes, the government must ensure

jobs for all.


Responsible police is a necessity. Police must be trained efficiently.
Special focus on crimes against women.
Speedy trial for heinous offences.
Provisions for speedy justice in cases of consumer disputes and cyber crimes.
14. Equality between men and women:
Funds from the government for female education and security.
Reservation for representation in elections.
Parent psychology must be addressed. They must treat their children equally.
Respect women in your family.
15. Phone and internet access:
Prudent access of technology.
Internet can help in good education.
16. Political Freedoms:
Equal opportunities for the representation of men and women in elections at every
level.
