Tracker findings

As you are aware we conducted a short tracking survey on your behalf in the Republican primary in the
1st Congressional District in Kentucky. Specifically, we conducted 400 interviews with likely primary
voters by telephone. The interviews were conducted 5/3 and 5/4/2016. The margin of error associated
with the results is +/-4.9%.
The findings show that you have further expanded your lead in the race for the Republican nomination.
In a survey conducted in early April we found you led your nearest opponent by 37%. You have
extended this lead to 47%. You have gained 11% while your opponents have made little or no progress.
The following table summarizes the trend:

4/10- 41/12/2016

5/3-5/4/2016

As before you lead in all parts of the district and with all segments of the electorate. You now
completely dominate the Eastern portion of the District, where you are getting 70% of the vote.
However, you have also expanded your vote share in the Western part of the District where you are
now getting 43% of the vote, leading the other candidates by a margin greater than 2 to 1.
While the number of undecided voters has dropped substantially, 1 in 5 voters is still undecided at this
time. You are in great shape in your race to become the Republican nominee, but a lot of campaigning
remains to be done.
I look forward to discussing these findings in greater detail.
