Time to Attack Iran

Opponents of military action against Iran assume a U.S. strike would be far more
dangerous than simply letting Tehran build a bomb. Not so, argues this former

Pentagon defense planner. With a carefully designed attack, Washington could

Agha A the whole world is waiting for outcome of US elections .Not that Trump
or Hillary any different policies for Iran. US foreign policy is not made by
democrats or republicans but by their patrons in industry and the intellectual
whores hired by the big money known as think tanks. As I sit in the cockpit 100
metres from Iranian border I see a middle east sharply divided by Bush Juniours
unwitting brilliant strategic stroke of having divided shias and sunnis in middle
east and islamic world. Iranians are enjoying the post sanctions world but they
are now more arrogant and more overbearing. There is an Islamic saying that
Allah Hates arrogance and if this is true Iranians are guilty of the crime of
arrogance. We can hear the drums of war .If it is not USA , it would be Arab
versus AJAM and Pakistan versus India ,Russia versus USA , a resurgent
China. The world is far more complicated and ambiguous today than it was in

2000.Craig Chemaly Thomas J. Miller, CLM, Thomas J. Miller, CLM,

A HafIZ Iran is Allies of the United States of America now. What we got when
we attached on Iran last time. Did we win. USA got to formulate a policy that
stabilize our relations with the region. We have seen since the 2bd world war
that American can not win the war or reslove any conflict in any region without
the help of local leadership and winning the heart and minds of local people.
USA needs Iran by all means necessary. When the Republican and their
presidential candidates threaten Iran before they are elected how one expect

that Iran comes forward and makes USA, their Allies. USA has produced
psychopath personality in Republican who's major job remain hate-mongering
and warmongering in order to make money through their mitary complex and
our nation may go in hell for sever economic depression, unemployment,
poverty and hunger but war is their necessary means to make themself
billioners overnight lime Cheney's and associate greed. Does Americans allow
these habitual warmonger to go forward of killing the innocent people?

James Craven Folks CFR has been pushing this line forever in Foreign Affairs;
go back to the overthrow of Mossadegh, the exact kind of "Third Force" model
the USG had been pushing in Vietnam (neither colonialism nor communism) and
how did that turn out? China 1949 onward, Guatemala 1954 how did that turn
out? Cuba? Vietnam? Santo Domingo 1965? One blowback after another, usually
within 5 years, the opposite of purported intended effects of regime change ops,
Libya, Syria on and on. This is the CFR-Bilderberg boys and a few girls and Billary
are part of it and some shills for it are Charlie Rose, PBS, CBS, Bilderberg,
Richard Haas and some others.Show less

A HafIZ The only way, the American can save America by electing Bernie
Sanders as our next President of the united States of America? Republican is
piece of shit and had not produced a single candidates who focus on the internal
public issues. Why the foreign policy is considered by Republican to always go to
war? Because, it is easy money getter overnight at the cost of public. In Iraq
war, by Chaney and associates and black water where is looting money, Gold
and Diamonds and other's lucrative items from the common citizens and after
looting, killing their whole families in order to destroy evidence of stealing and
looting the foreign assets. Are these sole reasons that Republican focus reasons

to wage wars against innocent citizens, first creating the dectators and kept
their citizens hostages under their dictatorship than creating a reasons against
the same dectators to wage a war against their innocent citizens is a ludicrous.
How American be liked by foreign countries to make any friend instead of all
enemies through the world. Creating and using NATO and using them where
ever warmonger wants to initiate war to promote wars and serk family and
friends interests at the cost of public where public suffers negative externalities
inside their country. America desperately needs a leader like Bernie Sanders to
change the negative directions and put our nation for progressive agenda. Show

Craig Chemaly A Haflz, your suggestions are as asinine as the insinuation

that we should attack Iran. I don't even know where to start. 1) Iran is NOT an
ally of the U.S., including in the war on Terror. 2) Bernie Sanders (who has no
shot at the White House anyway) is for policies that would cripple our economy,
gut our military, and expose U.S. citizens to grave, grave danger.
Here is a good analogy for the Clinton/Trump race: U.S. citizens are looking at
two cups. One cup, Clinton, we can be certain contains poison. The second cup
(Trump) is filled with an unknown liquid. Refusing to drink either cup results in
being force-fed the poison. What do you do? Show less

A HafIZ Craig. I respect you opinion, although I disagree with you. It's is
always a tendency of the both parties establishment to lie, cheat and shodow
the most popular public opinion and promote the most dummy version of
unpopular candidates who are having an immoral character. Incompetent. Liar
and untrustworthy. Both Hillary and Trump are trash and American has discarded
them except ugly establishment. Bernie Sanders is the first leader in the

American History who first time focused the common man issues of 90%
American. Pl. Understand that 90% American of middle class vote and now
Bernie Sanders has mobized poor and showed them why their voting is
important in all the elections. Bernie Sanders is winning in WV, and remaining all
the States, how Hillary will win over Sanders when Sanders is winning the
remaing States. In regard to the super delegates, if Hillary wins on this basis I
will sue the DNC on the basis of violating the American Constitution and
promoting super delegates over earned delegates. The choice belongs to the
DNC.Show less

understand is why so many Iranians do not hate us for a long list of good

bright, capable, honest, not dogmatic but very patient and willing to listen, do

what costs? And yet Iranians have worked with our own SOF in CT and antidrugs for years and after 9-11 came and expressed their condolences and

James Coleman There are a lot of thoughtful, reasoned assessments on

whether or not to attack Iran. However, this isnt one that requires thought. Sen.
Tom Cotton (R-AR) was paid a lot of money by ECI (Bill Kristols group) to get this
done. Were going in. Reading Reuters, BBC, or whatever was on my thread,
during the P5+1, to a man or woman, Laurent Fabius (France), Frank-Walter
Steinmeier (Germany), Federica Mogherini (Italy) and Phillip Hammond (Great
Britain) fully understood that November 8, 2016 was an important date. The
Establishment has made it clear that it wants this. One of the reasons Donald J.
Trump is receiving some resistance is they think he might not give them Iran.
But theyre trying. The same players are trying to wedge their way in, i.e., Dan
Senor, Reuel Marc Gehrecht, Jamie Fly, Paul Wolfowitz, etc.Iran is really the
only game in town. Inspections, WMDs, Mushroom Cloud, Yellow Cake,
etc., will once again be at the top of the news. Were getting inno doubt. Show

James Craven Before you judge you clearly did not read the whole missive.
The piece from 2012 was specifically chosen and noted as such (you need to
work on your own before commenting on the scholarship of others) as it is from
2012, from CFR's journal Foreign Affairs, and it is proxies and shills for CFR in
2016 using those exact words "Time to Attack Iran" using mostly the same
discredited pretexts then as now. That is the point, they revive and pimp this
line every four years or so and have been since the early 1990s when that
fascist thug Netanyahu was saying in 1992 they had solid intel Iran was less
than two years away from nukes even as the Iranians said they consider Nukes
anti-Islamic and were being called liars by a provable and serial liar. It is an "old
story" every 4 years...Show less

James Craven I put out the cover of Foreign Affairs 2012 with this title Time
to Attack Iran specifically because it was from 2012, and I have others going

"time to ATTACK"? No US Security Council?

to destabilize and terrorize a people we have been terrorizing since the

James Craven Typo, UN Security Council? Declaration of War? Debate on

Declaration of War? What have the Iranians done to justify talk of being an
existential threat, time to attack an act of war without even a declaration of war
or debate? And these creatures are all over the TV with the likes of Charlie Rose,
PBS, CBS, ABC, NBC and a lot more shilling for them with little opposition or
exposure of their tradecraft, hidden connections, agenda and masks. Tom put
this out because it is important because it reveals a mindset and agenda of

James Craven Tom, I too put out the cover of Foreign Affairs containing that
article knowing full well and making the point it was written in 2012, because
now in 2016 the same exhortations, using the same words, are coming again, in
2016, from the same elements and their shills, and the implications are the
same or worse: that I am sure is also what you were reacting to and that the
piece is 4 years old has nothing to do with bad or incompetent scholarship and
that kind of comment is at best gratuitous and ill-informed but its dating does
not make your posting it a bad. In my case it was quite intentional to show same
shit different day. The main point from this distraction is the language and
people who cannot find many of these places on a blank map, these days have
no problem urging and celebrating stuff we properly hanged some Nazi and
Japanese war criminals for and most of them at CFR and their types never even
wore a uniform but they promote war and war crimes. That is the point and no
bad.Show less

getting nothing inreturn.Today in 2016 life is hell for Baloch who want to

extreme high handedness which pakistani state passively accepts , although

Agha A my close observations of US higher commanders in Afghanistan and

how incompetently they conducted operations led me to the conviction that the
US would fail in Syria as early as 2011. Syria was much smaller than Iran so any
US ADVENTURE in IRAN would be a grand faux pas and a grand PEE in the
PANTS at the strategic level. Iraq and Libya were isolated cases and the US
would never get such unopposed entries ever again.
