Documents to be submitted for this study course:

The following documents are an indispensible part of your application and have to be submitted no later than the
application deadline. If any of them - except for school graduation and language certificates which may be submitted
till January 15th, 2016 - are missing, your application cannot be considered.

Cover page available in the download area of your application account once you have fully completed this
online application

Curriculum vitae in English; including exact dates of school/university attendance

Secondary school graduation certificate


German applicants: Regular copy of secondary school graduation certificate (e.g. Allgemeine

Hochschulreife, Fachhochschulzeugnis) and, if applicable, university transcripts. If graduation diploma


is not yet available, please submit preliminary results.
International applicants: Officially certified copy ofsecondary school graduation certificate and, if

applicable, university transcripts. If graduation diploma is not yet available, please submit preliminary
results. (Certification has to be done by a German authority (e.g. German Embassy). German applicants:
local municipality or government office; international applicants: German embassy)

If applicable: Proof of English skills


For applicants with a German school graduation certificate: If your school graduation certificate

shows the number of English school years as well as the final grade, no additional proof will be required. If
not, we kindly ask you to send us regular copies of the last eight years during which you attended language
classes.
For applicants with a European school graduation certificate: Please submit your results of an

internationally accepted English language test either the original or officially certified copies
For non-European school graduation certificates: An internationally accepted English test result is

not required, nevertheless we strongly recommend such a document as proof of your English skills.
(Results of language tests are only accepted if they are on the day of the application deadline less than two
years old!)

If applicable: Proof of work experience

For German applicants: Completed three year apprenticeship in a business-related profession


and/or one year (full-time) employment

For EU-Applicants: Completed and by German authorities (Chamber of Industry and Commerce)
approved apprenticeship in a business-related profession and/or one year (full-time) employment

In addition for all applicants with a non-German school graduation certificate: Accreditation letter
stating that your foreign school graduation certificate qualifies you for studying at our university (issued by
Technische Hochschule Nrnberg/IB Office or Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle). Applicants from China, Mongolia
or Vietnam have to submit the APS-Certificate instead of the accreditation letter.

The following documents are optional:

Letter of motivation explaining your reasons for wishing to join the degree program
Please note, when handing in your application you will not receive any confirmation that your documents
arrived. It is your responsibility to submit all documents! Therefore, please use this check list or refer to the
webpage of the program.

Preferential admittance:
If you have already been accepted to a restricted course of studies last year, but could not assume your studies due to
military or alternative service, you will receive preferential admittance for the coming winter semester in the same
course of studies. Please attach a copy of your acceptance letter from last year and a certificate of service to your
application for admission for this year.
