Match Play Qualifying – June 13,14th
The Johnston Meier Insurance Match Play
Qualifying at Kings Links by the Sea will consist
of a maximum of 42 Professionals and 32
Amateurs in each flight (Championship, Flight A
& B) vying for 24 qualifying spots. The 24
successful qualifiers in each flight will join the
top 8 ranked VGT Players to balance out the 32
player match play field in each flight. Players
will select one of the two dates (13th or 14th) to
qualify. An equal percentage of players from
each day will qualify for the Match Play Draw.
Exemptions from Qualifying:
Professionals: The Top 8 players from the
2010 VGT Professional OOM at the end of May
26th are exempt from qualifying and are ranked
accordingly: 1,2,5,6, 9, 10, 13 and 14.
The 3,4,7,8, 10, 11 and 15-32nd seeds will be
determined by the top 24 gross scores in the
Professional Flight Qualifying.
Amateurs: The top 8 amateur players in each
Amateur Flight of the 2010 VGT OOM at the end
of May 23rd are exempt from qualifying and will
be ranked as follows: 1,2, 5,6, 9, 10, 13 and 14.
The 3,4 , 7, 8, 10, 11 and 15-32nd seeds will be
determined as follows: Championship Flight -
Top 24 Gross Scores; Flight A and B: Top 24
Net Scores.
Qualifying Tee Times:
Sunday, June 13th: Tee-times start at 12:00pm.
Monday, June 14th: Tee-times start at 11:00am.
Players will select only one day to qualify on.
Handicap Factors: All Amateurs’ handicap
factors will be frozen as of June 6th to determine
their qualifying flight for this event.
Entry Fees and Registration:
VGT Professionals: $175 plus HST
Non-VGT Professionals: $200 plus HST
VGT Amateurs: $130 plus HST
Non-member Amateurs: $160 plus HST

Saturday, June 5th, 2010
Match Play Tournament:
 $20,000 in cash and prizes**
 $12,000 Professional Purse**
 Great Amateur Prizes in each flight
 $5,000 Johnston Meier Hole-in-one
and $1MILLION Shoot-out Qualifier!
** Based on full field of 50 pros; 120 amateurs
MATCH PLAY ROUND DEADLINES:
Round of 32: Must be completed by July 1st
Round of 16: Must be completed by July 16th
Quarter-final: Must be completed by July 31st
Semi-final: Saturday, August 7th – Swan-e-set
Final: Sunday, August 8th – Swan-e-set
Once the 32 player field has been set for each
Flight, players will have 15 days to complete
each match in order to advance to the next
round. The Semi-finals and Finals matches for
all flights will be contested at Swan-e-set Resort
on August 7, 8th.

MATCH PROCEDURES: ORDER OF MERIT
Pros and Amateurs are required to take the Order of Merit (OOM) points will be awarded in
following steps to complete these matches: each category of membership (Professional &
