Personal statement
I am a self motivated and original thinking person with a burning will to succeed in every thing I
do. With great attention to detail I am able to manage the smaller obstacles without losing sight
of the big picture. I have been very lucky in my professional career having wonderful mentors and
grasping a vast amount of knowledge and experience in my career to date.

My role is to manage the supply of soft furnishings for the interiors of super yachts,
property and private aircraft. I manage and work with a small team of buying
coordinators sourcing products from luxury brand to custom made items. We source
from suppliers in Europe, the far east and south America. I oversee the main project
being the main point of contact for both the client and building relationships and
ensuring the smooth running of all projects with suppliers.
Despite the industry, budget and cost focus is also a key element in every project
undertaken with extensive analysis. required
I joined the Team at ALBS as a Development merchandiser at the end of March. I then moved to
Account management and product development whilst progressing with my new business
development and continuing building my business to business strategy.

I commenced employment with MDA in 2007 given the role of Product sourcing, development +
buying to meet lifestyle requirements of individual brands, on-trade and off-trade end-users. Also
managing the entire process through development stages to logistics.
Daily activity
Using various IT systems to track creative requests, manage work flows and projects.
Organising sea/ air freight and commodity codes. Managing client expectations, setting
margins, using approval and critical path documents.
Meeting various logistics companies to ensure we were getting the best price for freight for
our clients and creating consolidation tables
Setting up costs sheets (using excel to track all costing implications including storage and
setting profit margins).
Attending Picking and Packing meetings to arrange the fulfilment aspect with the relevant
supply chain and client service manager.
Tracking invoices and overall budgets; QC proofs/ pre-production samples and stock on
delivery. Prioritising workloads and rapidly switch from project to project as queries arise.
Promotional marketing brainstorming.

I commenced employment with Noosphere Ltd in April 2006 joining the team initially as a product
developer, this position progressed after 3 months to a Buyer developing and learning all aspects
of the critical path allowing me to travel to the Far East on several occasions to liaise with
factories and attend Trade fairs.

Working closely to ensure customs clearance is obtained and feeder vessels and readily
available for fast transit.

I worked P/T during University and full time on breaks. I liaised with taxi company's on contracts
for children with disability's or Key stage requirements to be transported to and from school or
there designated place of education.
