CHAPTER 2

Theory used in the study

2.1 Descriptive Approach

According to McQuigg (2009), Descriptive models are evaluated according to their
ability to reproduce the behaviour of the decision maker. This study will yield an estimate of
the actual impact of the information on the real decision maker who may or may not use
information in an optimal fashion. Most of the previous descriptive research have been either
case studies or surveys. Although such studies are useful, they cannot produce adequate
models for assessing or predicting the impacts of weather information. Studies involving the
detailed interviews, protocol analysis, and decision experiments that are required to develop
descriptive models of decision making adequate for assessing the impacts of information are
rare.
Proponents gathered informations through questionnaires and interview for Chloe
Denisse Meatshop. The gathered information such as questionnaires and interview that the
proponents used to know how the business works and the needs of how they process their
transaction in conducting the study.
2.2 Networking Approach

3.4 Local Studies

On the study conducted by Ferrer and De Leon (2001). The researchers came up
with a computerized sales and inventory system under of Korean Red Ginseng. The
database is used by the proponents to easy access of files and for easier and faster
progress of selling and inventory transaction. The program was titled to generate reports
such as sales invoice, monthly reports, inventory reports and list of items.
In connection with the proposed system, the proponents suggested a new and faster
way of processing business transactions. The system will helped the user to know the
products availability. It also helped the manager/owner to get immediate notice for
acquisition of additional products and monitor the stocks. The Proponents gains knowledge
about the data processing and report generations through this research. It also gives the
proponents ideas to create the proposed system reports in online sales and inventory
system. Automation is mandatory, thus automated report generation for accurate reports is
to be included in the proponents proposed system.
In the study conducted Osaka Sales and Inventory System by Maao, Naola and
Laraang (2009) The business nowadays using modern technology they takes the advantage
to improve their status and ensuring an efficient and advantage way to make their work

modern effective tool must be relevant in creating and establishing a sales and inventory
system that will maintain efficiently their transaction. They establish a system that inclusively
for the transaction matter of Osaka Iridology, such as overseeing of their medicine and their
daily sales.
Also stated in the research, Sales and Inventory System for Schema Mega Centre
(Geronimo, Daez, Almeda). The proposed system are not just only accurate, stable, and
fast in processing transactions rather it is also grant more systematic way of transacting with

the representatives and through the billing system also helped the workers to save a lot of
