conditionstobeornottobesuitableforthepurposesoftheregulations;
(h)respectingthequalificationsofpersonswhoareengagedintheproduction,
preservation,testing,packaging,storage,selling,providingorotherwisedealinginany
controlledsubstanceorprecursororanyclassthereofandwhodosounderthe
supervisionofapersonlicensedundertheregulationstodoanysuchthing;
(i)prescribingstandardsofcomposition,strength,concentration,potency,purity
orqualityoranyotherpropertyofanycontrolledsubstanceorprecursor;

Canada,sending,transportation,delivery,saleorprovisionoforotherdealinginany
substanceincludedinScheduleI,II,III,IV,VorVIoranyclassthereof;
(k)respectingthedistributionofsamplesofanysubstanceincludedin
ScheduleI,II,III,IV,VorVIoranyclassthereof;
(l)controllingandlimitingtheadvertisingforsaleofanycontrolledsubstanceor
precursororanyclassthereof;
(m)respectingtherecords,books,electronicdataorotherdocumentsinrespect
ofcontrolledsubstancesandprecursorsthatarerequiredtobekeptandprovidedbyany
personorclassofpersonswhoimportsintoCanada,exportsfromCanada,produces,
packages,sends,transports,delivers,sells,provides,administers,possesses,obtainsor
otherwisedealsinanycontrolledsubstanceorprecursororanyclassthereof;
(n)respectingthequalificationsforinspectorsandtheirpowersanddutiesin
relationtotheenforcementof,andcompliancewith,theregulationsoranytermsand
conditionsspecifiedbytheMinisterinanexemptiongrantedundersubsection56.1(2);
(o)respectingthequalificationsforanalystsandtheirpowersandduties;
(p)respectingthedetentionanddisposaloforotherwisedealingwithany
controlledsubstance;
(q)respectingthedisposaloforotherwisedealingwithanyprecursor;
(r)respectingthetakingofsamplesofsubstancesunderparagraph31(1)(h);
(s)respectingthecommunicationofanyinformationobtainedunderthisActor
theregulationsfromorrelatingtoanypersonorclassofpersonswhoisormaybe
authorizedtoimportintoCanada,exportfromCanada,produce,package,send,transport,
deliver,sell,provide,administer,possess,obtainorotherwisedealinanycontrolled
substanceorprecursororanyclassthereof

(i)toanyprovincialprofessionallicensingauthority,or
2
(ii)toanypersonorclassofpersonswhere,intheopinionofthe
GovernorinCouncil,itisnecessarytocommunicatethatinformationforthe
properadministrationorenforcementofthisActortheregulations;
(t)respectingthemaking,serving,filingandmannerofprovingserviceofany
notice,order,reportorotherdocumentrequiredorauthorizedunderthisActorthe
regulations;
(u)prescribingthecircumstancesinwhichanordermadeunder
subsection41(3)mayberevokedbytheMinisterpursuanttosubsection42(4);
(v)prescribingformsforthepurposesofthisActortheregulations;
(w)establishingclassesorgroupsofcontrolledsubstancesorprecursors;
(x)conferringpowersorimposingdutiesandfunctionsonadjudicatorsin
relationtohearingsconductedanddeterminationsmadebythemunderPartV;
(y)governingthepracticeandprocedureofhearingsconductedand
determinationsmadebyadjudicatorsunderPartV;
(z)exempting,onsuchtermsandconditionsasmaybespecifiedinthe
regulations,anypersonorclassofpersonsoranycontrolledsubstanceorprecursoror

anyclassthereoffromtheapplicationofthisActortheregulations;and

(z.1)prescribinganythingthat,bythisAct,istobeormaybeprescribed.

Record,beforethedestruction,thename,strengthperunit,andquantityofthetargetedsubstance

Ensurethemethodofdestructionconformswithfederal,provincialandmunicipalenvironmental
legislation;
Recordthedateofthedestruction;
Havethedestructionwitnessedbyapharmacistorapractitioner;and,
Immediatelyafterthedestruction,ensureyouandthewitnesssignandprintyournamesonajoint
statementindicatingyouhavewitnessedthedestruction,andthetargetedsubstancedestroyedhas
beenalteredordenaturedtosuchanextentthatitsconsumptionhasbeenrenderedimpossibleor
improbable.

producershallimmediatelyenterinabook,registerorotherrecordmaintainedforsuchpurposes,the

(b)thedatethenarcoticwasreceived;and
(c)thenameandaddressofthepersonfromwhomthenarcoticwasreceived.
