3M™ Speedglas™ 100 Welding Shield

With the introduction of the Speedglas™ 100 welding

shield, hundreds of thousands more part-time welders can
benefit from the key attributes of our full-featured models.

The new Speedglas 100 welding shield delivers

outstanding protection, comfort and performance with
distinctive graphic designs. Welders can benefit from
Speedglas’ excellent optical quality and reliable light-to-
dark switching at a highly affordable price.

The Speedglas 100 welding shield can be used with most

arc welding processes, such as stick (MMA), MIG/MAG and
many TIG applications. The easy-to-use Speedglas 100 is
the ideal “first” auto-darkening shield for maintenance or
construction workers and occasional welders who weld
infrequently but can benefit from the ability to always
clearly see with their welding protection in place.

The Speedglas 100 is available as a single and a variable

shade option.

The Speedglas 100S welding shield is only available with a

black shield design.

Welders can choose the Speedglas 100S-10 with a dark

shade of 10 or the 100S-11 with a dark shade of 11.

Both models have a light shade of 3 and are suitable for

“Real Protection, Stick and MIG. Both options are approved to high impact
AS/NZS 1337.

These six new models are available with the Speedglas 100V lens, which features five user-selectable dark shades,
from shade 8 to shade 12, and a light shade of 3. This lens has three sensitivity settings: a normal setting used for most
types of welding (both indoors and outdoors), a setting for when other welders are working nearby, and a setting for low-
current or stable arc (e.g. TIG) welding.
