LCDSA of MI Educational Scholarship

We are the Livingston County Deputy Sheriff Association of Michigan. We are a group of dedicated law
enforcement professionals who provide law enforcement services in Livingston County, Michigan. The
association consists of detectives, road patrol, and correction officers of the Livingston County Sheriffs
Department.
LCDSAMI has established and annual educational scholarship to assist with the financial demands of
continued schooling in the field of Law Enforcement. Awards will be made each year to high school students
and or returning collegiate to assist in paying tuition at accredited institutions of either a community college or
a four year university. The sum of 1 grant in the amount of $500.00 will be made annually.
To be eligible for this award, applicants must be at least a 12th grade level in high school and have the
necessary credits to graduate on time. High school applicants must be accepted to an accredited college or
university prior to application. Or applicant is currently enrolled and attending an accredited college or
university with a focus of study in the field of law enforcement. Furthermore additional consideration will be
given to any applicant sponsoring themselves through a Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards
recognized Police Academy.
