Design & Standard 1.1 Emphasis is placed on the following design consideration: a) Full compliance with Indian design codes, guidelines and regulations; b) Adopting environmentally friendly systems, promoting energy efficiency and potentials for supporting “Smart City’ concepts; ©) Simplicity in design: d) Optimise cost and operational flexibility with low operating and maintenance costs, 1.2 Standard & Statutory Requirement a) The design, material and equipment shall generally comply with the latest requirement of the standard codes, guidelines and other documents issued by the Indian Authority, Institutions and Organisation. b) The design of the Infrastructure within Start-up Area shall comply with the statutory requirements and Codes of Practice of India or other approved equivalent. infrastructure 24 Earthworks a) Roads’ Right-ofWay (ROWs) and ground levels of public infrastructure, parks and amenities shall be designed to platform level of 25m+ MSL for flood management control as per the Master Plan. b) Environment control shall be implemented to minimise environmental pollution, c) Approved fill material shall be used with proper compaction meeting the relevant engineering standards and Indian code of practice for the intended infrastructure works. 2.2 Drainage a) Drainage system will have trapezoidal open drains, box culvert and box drains; and maintenance sumps with adequate sizing, spacing and depth, b) The box drains, box culverts and maintenance sumps shall be reinforced conerete or other approved equivalent. ©) Trapezoidal open main drains shall be natural earth drains beautified with simple greens and landscape. 23 24 25 SWISS CHALLENGE PROPOSAL SUBMITTED BY ASCENDAS-SINGBRIDGE PTE LTD. Water a) The water supply system shall be looped to provide good reliable supply of water and reduce pressure loss and improve redundancy. b) Adequate water supply pressure shall be provided. A bulk water meter shall be provided at all the main intakes and separate sub-meter shall be provided to investor land plot boundary. ©) The pipe shall be laid underground with sufficient depth and adequate spacing distance from other utilities. The pipe is protected with haunched reinforced concrete where it is laid under the road crossings. Isolation valves, air relief valves and drain lines will be provided at regular spacing for ease of operation. @) The pipe material used is steel or ductile iron cement lined pipe or other approved equivalent.
