Hna Ranch Farm Stand Provides Certified Organic Produce to

Visitors and Community
Hna, Maui Along the secluded north coast of Maui lies a hidden healthy gem. Hna Ranch,
a long-time member of the tight-knit Hna community, provides residents with locally-grown
produce grown right in Hna. Hna is one of Mauis most popular destinations for tourists
looking to experience the authentic, quiet Hawaii lifestyle.
Hana Ranch, which recently received CCOF organic certification, has established the Hna
Ranch Farm Stand, making their fresh fruits and vegetables available to visitors who take on the
52-mile drive along the scenic Hna Highway. For many, vacation makes it all too easy to stray
away from healthy eating, but the Farm Stand makes eating smart while traveling easy. Located
near the Hna Ranch Arena, the Farm Stand is an opportunity to experience local food direct
from the source. The Farm Stand is open Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. 4 p.m. and
Wednesday Friday from 9 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Hna Ranch produce is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and/or
genetically modified seeds. All produce is grown according to standards set by the USDA
National Organic Program, standards that address several factors: animal raising, pest and
weed control and soil control.
Hna Ranch has been operating in Hna since 1944, and was purchased by Hna Ranch
Stewards in 2014. Committed to working with the community. Bio-Logical Capital, Hna Ranch
Stewards parent company, manages the ranch and farm with sustainability in mind, seeking to
feed the local community and Maui, while employing Hna residents that have made the ranch
a success for 71 years.
Hna Ranch is committed to providing organic, sustainable food to the local community, said
Olivia Maki, communications manager for Hna Ranch. We are thrilled to be able to provide
our Hna community and now, visitors to Hna, with organic, locally-grown fruits and
vegetables.
The farm stand offers a variety of produce including bananas, butter lettuce, lemons, limes and
parsley, as well as Hawaiis traditional cultural staple, taro, and grass-fed beef.
