Code of Conduct
Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management is a temple
of learning where teachers, students and staff members follow the
general principle of worshipping knowledge and values with utmost
sincerity, dedication and discipline. To maintain this glorious tradition,
it is mandatory for all the students of the college to abide by the
following code of conduct.
1. Students should make optimum utilization of their time and
resources available in the college for upgrading the academics as
well as all round development of personality.
2. The identity card should be available with the students at all time
during their presence in the campus.
3. Dress code should be strictly followed.
4. Obey the instructions of security persons while parking the
vehicles.
5. When any class is not conducted (period is off), utilize the time
sensibly. Do not disturb the other classes which are going on.
6. Do not use mobile phone in the class room as well as in the labs.
Either switch-off the mobile or keep it in silent mode. Keep the
mobile in the bag when you are in the class room or lab. Violation
of this will lead to confiscation of the mobile phone.
7. Maintain proper discipline not only in the class room but also in
the entire college premises including canteen, hostel and play
ground.
8. Maintain proper discipline when you are in the other college for
placement process or for participating in the co-curricular/extracurricular activities or for any other reasons.
9. Shouting, blowing whistle or making noise in any form in the
campus is strictly prohibited. Student should keep their voice low
while moving in the corridors of the college buildings.
10. Use of abusive/filthy language and gestures is strictly prohibited.
If any student is caught using such language/gesture he will be
immediately suspended.
11. Maintain decency while talking/sitting/moving/interacting with the
fellow colleagues (boys as well as girls). All the time, you should
not forget that you are in the college premises.

12. During industrial tour strictly follow the guidelines given by the
college, HOD and tour incharge.
13. Birthday celebration by the students in the college premises
including the canteen is prohibited.
14. Writing of slogans, comments etc on the clothes of students by
their fellow colleagues is not allowed.
15. Holi (Dhulivandan) celebration in the college premises is
prohibited.
16. Burning of fire-crackers in the college premises is serious offence.
Violation of this rule may invite rustication/expulsion of all the
students who are directly or indirectly involved in this act.
17. Taking out rally and bringing sandal band in the college premises
is prohibited.
18. Arranging parties outside the college which may deteriorate/spoil
the college name and fame is not allowed. Violation of this can
result into rustication or expulsion from the college.
19. Students are required to show due regard to the property of the
college. Any student found guilty of defacing or damaging
property like doors, windows, furniture, equipments, fixtures,
books, buildings, vehicles etc of the college or hostel shall be
liable for panel action and expulsion from the college.
20. Misuse of electronic/internet media (SMS, MMS, email, social
network sites etc) is a crime. If any student is found involved
directly or indirectly in such activity will be expelled from the
college.
21. Ragging of the students is a crime. Any student found involved in
this act will be punished as per the law.
22. Smoking, chewing of tobacco, consumption of alcohol and use of
drugs are strictly prohibited.
23. It is the responsibility of the students to respect the staff of the
institution and express this in action and behavior.
If any student is caught violating any of the code of conduct, he/she
will be punished. The punishment may be up to rustication or
expulsion from the college.
