Historically, the survey design has divided the
province into four regions: Toronto; Northern
Ontario (Parry Sound District, Nipissing District
and farther north); Western Ontario (Peel
District, Dufferin County and farther west); and
Eastern Ontario (Simcoe County, York County
and farther east).
