I . COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to prepare the prospective teachers in depth for the profession of teaching and helps them realize the latest
innovations in the field as educators.
This 6 unit subject intended for fourth year Education Students as a pre-requisite they complete their baccalaureate degree.
II. COURSE OBJECTIVES
A. General Objectives
1. Acquire awareness of the role of educators to students in preparing them to be good and useful citizens of the land.
2. Understand the long-life commitment of teachers to students and accomplish their task diligently.
B. Specific Objectives
1. Provide give the student- teachers the opportunities to put into practice educational theories, principles practices.
2. Understand of the daily problems In the classroom
3. Fully aware of and comprehend the total environment of the school socially, prehistorically, economically and emotionally.
4. Provide opportunities for student-teachers under the effective guidance of their cooperating/critique teachers to realize and
practice skills competencies necessary for successful teaching and learning.
5. Experience the actual responsibilities of a full-pledged mentor.
6. Appreciate the pleasure of the experience in dealing with pupils of different abilities and personalities.
