Evaluation of previous weeks experiences:

A. A concise description of what you did each day.
Monday-Friday- Spent time 2 hours each working on scheduling
buses for the fall sports season. This week is a Georgia State
sanctioned off week. Therefore no practices, camps or workouts
were being held.
B. New Experiences. This is the first time scheduling buses. I had
review scheduling procedures on the county website. Register
my name and password and enter the information for bus
requests for away games and practices in the fall.
C. Skills and knowledge used. Organization, Communication
D. Skills and knowledge areas in which you felt deficient.
Once I was able to schedule a few trips the rest of the scheduling
came easy.
E. Comments concerning your feelings and experiences.
Being organized and precise is very important. Not only do the
buses need to be requested properly but making sure all teams
had a bus if multiple away games were on the same day. It is
important to understand the distance and arrival times for each
team so that I schedule the appropriate bus(county bus or
activity bus)
F. Plans for improving your performance. Constantly asking
questions and sitting down with administrators and current and
past athletic directors will help improve my performance. Making
sure that I have several spread sheets updated to be able to

make corrections and confirm bus requests and coachs

satisfaction.
Situations you observed during the week that were interesting
and/or beneficial to your pre- professional development. I was able to
receive help from the Athletic Director on requesting a few trips before
taking over completely.

Evaluation of previous weeks experiences:

A. A concise description of what you did each day.
Monday- Wrote up the summer practice and workout wrap up
evaluation. Evaluation included both positive and negative issues
that were evident throughout the summer. Evaluated every team
and their head coaches on how well each team was prepared,
represented, dedicated to program growth, and followed the
rules and regulations of the Riverwood Athletic Program.
Reviewed the evaluation with AD Coach Santoro before meeting
with each coach later in the week to go over the evaluation.

Tuesday- Sat in on a meeting for all coaches for the 2016/2017

school year. Meeting was to introduce coaches, responsibilities,
agendas, new rules and regulations and changes in the athletic
program operations.
Wednesday- Sat in on a meeting for all head coaches, their
parent representative and the head of the RAA. Meeting briefly
reviewed physicals, athletic trainer concerns and the review of
the budget and financial operations of the athletic program. A
brief mention of the summer evaluation and concerns that were
brought up in Mondays meeting. Also mentioned that each
coach will meet with me to go over the evaluation
Thursday and Friday- Met with each head coach and reviewed
evaluations from the summer.
B. New Experiences. Writing an evaluation and discussing with
each coach.
C. Skills and knowledge used. Organization, Evaluation, Corrective
Criticism, Communication, Accountability
D. Skills and knowledge areas in which you felt deficient.
None
E. Comments concerning your feelings and experiences. The
writing of an evaluation of the summer and discussing it with the
coaches was a great opportunity to practice evaluations,
communicating it the coaches, starting a file on each coach and
developing a process of change if needed from several coaches.
F. Plans for improving your performance. Constantly asking
questions and sitting down with administrators and current and
past athletic directors will help improve my performance.
Situations you observed during the week that were interesting
and/or beneficial to your pre- professional development. Its not easy
discussing negative situations with a professional. Using the proper tone an
verbiage is very important to gain their respect and not deter the coaches
from wanting to improve.
