WHY DO MEN AND WOMEN HAVE DIFFERENT OPINONS ABOUT ABORTION

Targeted Audience
I am writing about Abortion in a manner of
an article. I would like my opinion posted in
a magazine directed to both female and
males of any adult age. I feel that every
generation has a saying on Abortion.
Personal View
My view of abortion is more specific to
female equality and rights. Why in medical
need do women feel guilty about abortion?
Abortion has been a controversial issue for
centuries. It has always been viewed as a
horrible act to be done. Abortion means in
many societies murder, as the fetus is
viewed as human being, religiously and
culturally we have grown with the thought
pass from generation to generation to
procreate not to eradicate.
Females View
Why do we think of Men and their views
towards abortion differently? I believed
females feel threatened by males in the way
society evolution has placed them always on
top of the food chain, whether is religious,
social or cultural base.
Male View
For centuries Men have been viewed as the
head of society. Culturally and religiously
the role of Men has been emphasized as the
main leader. This is why Men take lead to
question why they do not have a saying
when their child life?
General Views
Abortion is a subject that is highly debatable
amongst all society. History records have
concluded a relationship between gender
attitudes, religion, and politics; they all seem
to intertwine in the matter of discussion.
For centuries human beings have research

the meaning of life in this planet, and female

biology plays an important role in the
process of life proliferation. With that being
said religion has played an important role in
the view with regards to abortion, as life of a
fetus is seen as the life of a human being,
therefore when a pregnant female has an
abortion, it is viewed as crime against
human life, and that is why is highly
forbidden in many societies.
Religion
Religion has played a high role in the
intervention and prevention of abortion.
Many studies have found that, other things
being equal, individuals with greater
measure religiosity, and those with more
conservative beliefs or denominational
affiliation, are more likely to oppose to legal
abortion, and to oppose abortion in a wider
array of circumstances. Ministers are in a
position both to lead opinion on such issues
such as abortion, and to advice and counsel
individuals and couples who find themselves
considering abortion. Therefore, it would
seem important to know something about
clergy opinions on abortion and similar
issues.
Law Views
Political is also a major factor in promoting
laws for prevention or adjudication of
abortion. Historically, records have shown
that members of any political parties have
sided with preventing abortion, and creating
laws of how, when, and under what
circumstances abortion should be done.
Nevertheless, Suffragists have used the
ideology of civilization to claim womens
right to a political voice, and to connect any
abuses women have suffered in private to
their political impotence.

right to make decisions on their body and no

one has the right otherwise.
Pro Life Views
Pro-life disagree on abortion as they argue
on the ethical and religious base on the
opinion that the fetus has rights. They tend
to argue that yes, there have been studies
done and those studies have their limitations
and cannot directly tie the complication of
pregnancy as the primary reason for the
abortion. There are those who also provide
studies to show that male and female
percentages show the same agreement of
disapproval of abortion.
Pro Abortion Views
Pro-abortion see things slightly different.
Although they promote the same type of
studies, they also argue there is more to be
learned about the determination on females
right on abortion. How women have the

The Decision
I can only agree that both male and female
have equal decision when it comes to the
outcome of fetus conceived. When viewed
from a religious prospective the
conversation can turn to ethics of life.
When viewed from a female suffering from
Rape, the decision of abortion can be viewed
differently, females have a more open mind
about abortion.
Abortion is not an easy decision and on my
opinion, I feel that women should not be
marginalized, criticized or otherwise be
judge if there is a need of a medical
abortion. It is a personal decision and every
human being whether women or female
rights should be respected.
