testsubjects.Whereistheethicalissueinthiscasemanymayask.Welltoknowthis,onemust
knowthesituation.AgroupcalledTheAmericanTraditionInstituteattemptedtosuetheEPA
knowingofthewrongdoingsthesepeopleweredoing.Asaresultthecourtjusticeendedupnot
convictingtheEPAforconductingexperimentswithoutsufficientinformingtotheparticipants.
WhichmeanstheEPAandothergroupslikeitbasicallyhaveafreecardondoingthesetypesof
experimentssincetheyarenotallowedtobeconvictedofthesamecrimeagain.Thereason
CourtJusticeTrengadecidedonthiscourseofactionwashimattemptingtouseethical
reasoning.Asmanymaysay,courtjusticeTrengadidnotthinkintotheissuehardenough.

Havingdeducedthesituation,itisclearthatthereisinjusticetakingplace.Thegroup
knownasEPAareconductingdeadlyexperimentsontheelderlywhonotonlyarebeingharmed,
buttheyarebeingharmedunbeknownsttothem.ItisclearthattheEPAshouldhavesuedand
theexperimentscanceled.Thispaperwillhelpproveandinformpeopleonhowunjustthis
situationis.Keepinmindthatbothpartiesintendtodogoodoutoftheiractions.Therecanbe
manysolutionstothis,butwhatshouldbedoneisasfollows.TheEPAshouldhavebeensued
andtheirexperimentationsstopped.Aftertheyhavetakentheirpunishmenttheyshouldbe
allowedtoresumetheirexperimentations,buthaveaneyekeptuponthemtomakesuretheyare
doingthecorrectprocedures.Thiswaybothpartiesuptodebatecanresumetheiractionsina
mannerwhichisgoodandsuitableforallinvolved.Notonlywillthiscomeaboutbystopping
theEPAsunjustexperimentation,itwillhelpsavetheelderlythatarebeingtestedon.

MedicalIndicationsThegoalsoftheseexperimentsistohelpresearchthatwillleadto
advancementsinenvironmentalhazards.Theseexperimentscanhelpbetterunderstandeffects
ofpollutantsonhumansandhowtobestgoabouthandlingthesetypesofdangers.Basically,the
elderlyhavebeentoldtotakepartinthisexperimentfor12$perhour.NOindication
whatsoeveroftheharmsthatthegasof2.5PMisdeadlyandcancausedeathtothem.Therefore

Intheend,thecourseofactiontohaveactuallyfollowedthroughwithsuingtheEPA
wouldhavebeenthebestcoursetotake.TheEPAhaveunjustlytakenadvantageofelderlytest
subjectsforamere12$perhourwithouttellingthemthattheyriskdeathbypartakinginthe
experimentation.CourtJusticeTrengamadeamistakebyhavingmainlyfocusingontheend
goalsandpossibleresultsoftheEPA'sexperimentationandmadeitpossibleforthisunjustactto
continuegoingon.Thisisthebestoptiontotake.Thiswillresultinfurtherlegalandethical
experimentationtohelphealthyairquality.Helpcompensateforthewrongdoneuponthetest
subjects.Thenoverall,itwillhelpenforceanageofstrongerexperimentationpolicies.This
courseofactionwouldleadtogreaterawarenessandenforcementofinformedexperimentation
andsuch.Suchamovewouldhelppeoplefuturetestsubjectstobetreatedcorrectlyandnotlike
dispensableobjects.
