Step by Step:
1. Cut five sheets of patterned paper into 20.32 cm x 13.97 cm (8" x 5½") pieces.
2. Cut a 16.51 cm x 10.16 cm (6½" x 4") strip from patterned paper, ink the edges and adhere it the center of the front cover.
Use rub-ons to add part of the title to the strip.
3. Cut a journaling spot from patterned paper and adhere to the lower right side of the back cover.
4. Laminate all 5 pages of the mini book using the 5" x 7" hot pockets.
5. Use a variety of alphabet to complete the title on the front cover.
6. Add a variety of threaded buttons to the front cover.
7. Cut two 7.62 cm x 10.8 cm (3" x 4¼") strips from patterned paper and laminate using the 4" x 6" hot pocket. Trim excess
pocket leaving 0.6 cm (¼") on one side of each strip. Add adhesive to the 0.6 cm(¼") strip and adhere to the page so that
the open flaps face each other. Attach large eyelets.
8. Add Helmar Craft Glue to the 1.9 cm (¾") of each end of 1 yard of ribbon and twist until adhesive dries. (this will allow
you to easily lace the ribbon through the eyelets.) Lace the ribbon through the eyelets and tie. Add "lace & tie" tor the
bottom of the flaps using rub-ons. Yea

9. Cut a 10.2 cm x 7.6 cm (4" x 3") piece from patterned paper, ink edges, laminate and hand stitch one part of the snap to the
top center. Apply Helmar 450 Quick Dry to the bottom and sides and attach to the page, forming a pocket. Cut two 10.16 cm x
6.35 cm (4" x 2½”) pocket flap pieces from patterned paper, ink edges and laminate. Trim away lamination around pocket flap
edges BUT leaving an 0.6 cm (¼") strip of Hot Pocket on the top edge of one of the pieces. Hand stitch the second part of the
snap to the bottom center of the pocket flap without the extra laminate strip. Adhere the two pocket flaps together, then add
adhesive to the excess strip, snap onto the pocket and adhere the strip to the page. Add "snap" to the bottom using alphabet
stickers.

10. Cut two 17.1 cm x 1.9 cm(6 ¾” x ¾”) and one 13.3 cm x 1.9 cm (5 ¼”x ¾”) strips from patterned paper, ink the edges and
laminate. Trim excess. Adhere the left ends of each strip to the page. Attach sticky Velcro to the right sides of each strip.
Cut elements from patterned paper, add alphabet stickers and laminate. Trim excess and adhere to each strip. Add "Velcro"
to the bottom of the page using alphabet stickers.

11. Cut one 18.4 cm x 3.81 cm (7¼" x 1½”) and one 18.4 cm
x 5.7 cm (7¼" x 2¼") from patterned paper. Use sewing
machine to attach zipper. Apply adhesive to the edges and
adhere to the page.

12. Add element from the sticker sheet to the top,

center of the next page. Use a sewing machine to
stitch buckle to the page. Add "buckle" using
rub-on alphabets.

13. Cut two 13.97 cm x 3.2 cm (5½" x 1¼")

strips and two 10.8 cm x 3.2 cm (4¼" x 1¼”) from
patterned paper. Use a sewing machine to sew
button holes into one 13.97 cm x 3.2 cm (5½" x
1¼") strip and one 10.8 cm x 3.2cm (4¼" x 1¼").
Hand stitch two buttons to the other 2 strips so
that they match up to the buttonholes. Apply
adhesive to one end of each strip and attach to
the page. Add "button" to the top of the page
using alphabet stickers. Thread 2 chipboard
buttons with black ricrac and attach to each side
of the title.
