I believe within each instance of pain and suffering lies infinite possibility for peace, passion,
purpose and presence.
Many years ago, when I was a young girl struggling with bullying and severe depression, I made a promise
to myself that I would find my way out of the maze of pain and suffering so that I could help as many others
out as I possibly could. I have now dedicated over 20 years of my life to finding a solution.
POSSIBILITY IN PAIN
In the journey from pain to power each of us has the ability to emancipate ourselves from
mental slavery. Every obstacle presents itself as an opportunity to uncover your greatest purpose. Despite the way it may seem there is possibility in pain. It has a tremendous
transformative capability to bring us more peace, passion, purpose and presence in our
lives.
PAIN TO POWER
Pain to Power is about embracing and accepting all that you are. Its about exploring your
pain while being behind the driving seat of your transformation. Its not about rehashing the
past or dwelling on it like Debbie Downer, its about getting real with yourself and bringing
awareness into all aspects of your life.
If you can embrace the struggle, and make a decision to transform your pain, doors will
open for you that you never knew existed. You will draw towards yourself; the right people
and the right circumstances and be in the flow of life. When you transform your pain to
power, you will respond differently to the world and in return it will respond differently to
you.
To serve your greater understanding of this method here are definitions of both Pain and
Power as referred to in this ebook.
PAIN
Though pain can be a relative term subject to the individual experiencing it. The kind of
pain I am referring to, is a sense of suffering and disconnect from our true Essence.
Through a series of pain filled experiences in our life we unconsciously make a transition from love into a fear-based mentality. Any unresolved pain results in us seeing and
experiencing the world through negative filters. These filters manifest themselves through
our mind, body and spirit while fuelling our thoughts, beliefs, actions and reactions. Jealousy, hatred, anger, resentment, anxiety and fear are some of the most common filters
present in an individual experiencing pain manifest. Through examination and awareness
we can develop a new relationship to our pain and experience the world in a new way.
POWER
Power as referred to in this ebook, is a total connection to your true self or Essence.
This Essence is beyond the experience of our thoughts; pain and what could be referred to as external power. When we are in connection with our Essence we are connected to the natural flow of life. Your Essence and true power are what free you from
the bonds of emotional polarities and resistance to what is. From this place of power we
are able to think, act, behave and be in a state of aware presence. This enables us to disconnect from our worldly association and connect to what elite athletes refer to as the
Zone. Authenticity, strength, confidence and unconditional love are all characteristic of
this place of power. Though this state does not exclude you from painful experiences, it
allows you to transform it into a place of power, purpose and presence.

Before you turn another page, I want you to get serious about why it is you are doing this
and what it means to you. Take a moment now, breath and sit in silence. Allow yourself a
moment to visualize who you truly are. What is your mission on this earth and what kind
of person do you want to be. Once you get this image clear in your head, open your eyes
and record the following:
What are the repercussions of continuing on the path you are on?
How is your lack of understanding pain impacting your life and your
relationships?
How will it improve your life if you can effectively take action and
transform your pain?
How would it feel to be free of the I cants and have them replaced
by I cans?
Now that you are convinced that it is your time to be the true expression of who you are,
free of self doubt, hatred and fear, turn the page and begin to embrace your suffering.

CONGRATULATIONS
I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate you for taking a giant leap forward. I want
you to know what incredible courage it takes to get committed in your life and get serious
about changing your destiny. If you can keep driving yourself forward in faith, your life will
shift into a more loving and accepting place because you yourself have become love and
acceptance.
With that I welcome you to a life of presence. Do not be discouraged by your egos need
to stay alive, stay present and true and with time youre suffering will become a love like
you have never known.

The black triangle represents your pain where as the white that surrounds it
represents your power. With each step you take toward your healing the
pain / suffering decreases and the power / self-realization increases.
Each step in the process from Pain to Power can be extremely transformative.
By bringing awareness alone into our experience we can begin to feel a shift
happening in our lives.

Becoming aware of our spiritual, mental and physical discomfort is all that is needed
to begin our healing path. As we begin to observe our experiences through our mind, body
and spirit, we can root ourselves in presence and let go of the stories we tell ourselves about
our pain. Some of you will be reading this because you are already aware of the presence of
pain and suffering in your life. But others may have been caught in the cycle of suffering for
so long, they not only associate with it but believe it is who they are. So first and foremost we
must identify that there is a painful presence in our lives and secondly we must bring awareness and presence into the experience.
If we only tackle the problem from an intellectual thought based perspective, it can become
the beginning of an endless loop of awareness and resistance to our negative experience. For
this reason there are two main phases that need to be addressed:

Identifying different pain & power based personality traits can help raise our awareness
and presence in any given situation. The quicker we can gage where we are in the moment
based on our reactions and interactions, the sooner we can come from a place of true power.
This awareness allows us to choose a new course of action or inaction from a place of power.

Once we bring awareness to our pain and suffering our Egos immediate response
is, denial, rejection and resistance. But as with everything in life what we resist persists. We must learn to be accepting of our thoughts, feelings, emotions and even our painful
experiences. By developing tools and a deeper understanding of the pain in our lives, we can
develop a patience, stillness and faith amidst the struggle. With practice we can become the
calm within the storm of our lives and weather any problem that comes our way. Acceptance
of our pain is much like the advice you are given when swimming in the ocean and get taken
under by a wave. The very worst thing you can do is struggle against the current; you must
surrender and relinquish your control to nature and allow it to take its course. Acceptance is
our very best chance of survival when in the rapture of our minds and emotions. As we learn
how to accept things as they are we begin to open ourselves to becoming Accountable for
our experience.

Once we have found a sense of peace and acceptance within us, we can now begin
to look at our pain in a new way.
If we want to transform our suffering and change our lives we must learn to take accountability
in all aspects of our experience. We cannot control what happens to us but we can control
what we do with it. By taking control of our thoughts in all situations, we enable ourselves to
steer the course of our own life. Taking control of our lives, by taking accountability is one of
the single most empowering things we can do for ourselves. We must emancipate ourselves
from the prison we have created in our minds and realize that true freedom exists for the individual who chooses it. With this freedom comes appreciation for all that is and all that it has to
offer in our lives.

Life is full of polarities, where there is light there is dark, where there is love there is
fear and where there is pain there is power.
Our objective is to be able to seek out and appreciate the power in the pain even before it is
fully realized. You may be thinking how can I appreciate suffering? But the truth is, within every obstacle is the opportunity to grow and experience a deeper sense of compassion toward
yourself and others. Sometimes we need to do a lot of digging to find the meaning for our
suffering, but often the further you need to dig the greater the gift to be discovered. By cultivating an attitude of gratitude in all aspects of life, you will begin to open your heart and mind to
the love that truly exists around and within you. In all pain lies possibility; you just have to be
fearless and willing look for it.

Appreciation opens space for true change. Once we are happy with things as they
are its easier to take our life in the direction we want.
Though each step of the process is taking action. This step of Action is is about using the
space you have cleared up to affect real change throughout your mind, body and spirit.
Action is the driving force that takes you from a state of pain to power and potential. Once we
have embraced and appreciated our pain, we can begin to live from a place of true authentic
power. The key is not to fight against it but to work with it and allow it to work through you.
Each time we take action from this place of purity we shift and transform our suffering in massive ways. By working with our mind, body and spirit we begin to dilute the darkest corners of
our minds and allow the light to filter in. This creates momentum and an empowering shift in
the way we think, act and react to problems and people. As we take action through our inner
and outer world we signal to our highest self that we are no longer slaves to our unconscious
mind and are willing to work towards the greater good for all.

Alchemy is sixth and final stage of the 6A Method . It is the state of transformation
itself. In this final stage you have removed the negative filters in your life and have
the ability to be present and aware.
It is when the caterpillar emerges a butterfly and you are free to live from your true Essence
and power. Alchemy allows you to be fearless in the face of pain because you know within
you lies the ability to transform it. You not only live from a place of true potential and purpose,
you are able to move through lifes problems with much more ease and flow. Empathy and
compassion will flow through you and your transformation will not only be visible to you but
to those around you. You are not able to avoid suffering at this stage but rather welcome it as
your greatest tool to achieving peace, passion and purpose in life.

INTENTION
DECIDE: Intend to not only create a better future for yourself but a better present. Your
shear desire to overcome and transform obstacles gives you all that you need to begin
transforming your pain.
ATTENTION
INTERACTIONS: Pay attention to all interactions in your life. Not only is every obstacle
an opportunity to discover a deeper sense of love within yourself, so is every situation,
relationship and instant of inner dialogue.
PRESENCE: Be present when others are speaking. Listen without judgment, presupposing or thinking of what you will say next. Experience the connection in the moment.
MINDFULNESS: Be mindful and pay attention your thoughts, actions, beliefs and
emotions. Pay close attention to your reactions such as jealousy, anger, fear, judgment,
resentment etc.
COMPASSION
NON-JUDGMENT: As we become more mindful of our relationships, interactions, the
Ego will begin to judge and evaluate. Infuse every interaction with compassion and
non-judgment.
SELF-LOVE: Be gentle with yourself. As we begin to unearth our deep seeded pains
and fears a lot of emotions can be stirred up. Practicing self-love ensures that our own
self-sabotage does not derail us. Remember that you are on a healing journey and
honor yourself for the strength and courage it takes to walk this path. The more we love
ourselves the more we can be fully present to love those around us.
FAITH
DETACH: Once you have set your goals and intentions, allow yourself to detach from
the outcome. Cultivate a sense of inner peace and knowing that all exists to lead you to
your higher purpose.
BELIEF: Believe in yourself. Know that you are a being of pure love and power. The goal
is not to attain power, rather uncover it within you.
