In the body of my text I have made an effort to preserve Heideggers distinction between

ontological/existential terms and ontical/existentiell terms by placing ontological/existential terms in boldface type wherever there might be some doubt as to whether a term is being used as a
ontological/existential term or as an ontical/existentiell term. While the bold-face type can be somewhat
distracting, I have found it necessary to employ bold-face type in order to maintain, especially when using
or referring to words such as interpretation (Auslegung), which are sometimes used as
ontological/existential terms and at other times used as ontical/existentiell terms. A list of such terms can be
found in my Appendix III. Many Interpretations of Heidegger have foundered by failing to maintain or by
refusing to maintain this particular distinction.
