Convince your audience to buy the chosen item. Refer to the criteria below to help you to do the
pitch. Use your creative ideas to pitch the item effectively and convincingly within a limited
amount of time. Present your ideas as convincing and as creative as possible,

Credential:
Qualification: Qualification is your completion of your study, programme, course that can
demonstrate your skills such as course certificate, diploma, and bachelors degree.
Qualities: These refer to your attributes that show how useful you can be such as smart
and dedicated.
Capability:
Experience: Your previous work or study experience that prove your skills and expertise in
doing certain jobs
Accomplishment: Your achievements in anything that can support your credibility.
2. Feature and function of the item
Feature:
Use adjectives to describe the positive and interesting features of the item (e.g. light,
affordable, environmental-friendly, soft)
Function:
Use verbs to describe the usefulness of the item (e.g. it absorbs water instantly, it can be
used to clean small spaces, it is long enough to reach switch)

Problem: explain the problem that the audience usually has which the item can solve
effectively.
Advantage: explain the unique advantages of the item especially to the audience.

Firewood

Convince vehicle mechanics to buy firewood that they need firewood especially in their job.
1. Who you are
You were born in a village where there was no electricity during your childhood. Your
parents collected firewood and used it to warm the house at night and as a source of light.
You grew up learning how to chop firewood and used them for various purposes including
building houses. At school, you chose vocational education and you were specialized in
furniture construction and graduated with a diploma in the programme.
2. What the features and functions of the item are
Firewood is a renewable source of energy as trees can be planted. It is light, solid,
permanent, can be cut into various forms and shapes, affordable and more environmental
than plastic and metal.
3. How your audience can use this item
Vehicle mechanics can use firewood to elevate certain part of cars or the car itself and
firewood as it can be cut into the right height and width in order to do it. It reduces the
cost to purchase and maintain equipment that is needed to do this.
Vehicle mechanics can also use firewood as soft and solid mechanics creepers or seats
that cost them almost nothing and the best part about it is they can create, paint and
decorate their own mechanics creepers or seats as creative as they want.
