Know all men by these presents that we John T Webster and Elizabeth Webster wife of the said John T
of the Township of Pontiac Oakland County Michigan Territory in consideration of one hundred dollars
to us paid by Charles C Hascall of the same place the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do by
these presents give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Charles C his heirs and assigns a certain
parcel of Land situate in said county bounded and described as follows to wit, being apart [sic] of the
South west quarter of Section Number Twenty five (25) Township number three (3) North of Range
Number ten (10) East beginning at a post standing at the North East corner of the Dean Lot (so
called) running north Eighty Eight (88) degrees and fifteen (15) minutes East three (3) chains and
forty five (45) Links thence south one (1) degree forty five (45) minutes East fourteen (14) chains
and Fifty (50) Links thence south Eighty Eight (88) degrees and fifteen (15) minutes West three (3)
chains and forty five (45) Links thence north one (1) degree and forty five (45) minutes West
fourteen (14) chains and fifty (50) links to the place of beginning containing Five acres of Land
being the North part of the Lot heretofore purchased by the said Webster of one Bennett
Beardsley bounded on the East by Lands owned by Benjamin Phelps and on the West by the Dean
Lot (so called) Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the said Land in any wise
appertaining and belonging to have and to hold the above granted premises to the said Charles C.
Hascall his heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof forever. And we the said John T and
Elizabeth for our heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the said Charles C. his heirs and
assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that they are free from all
incumbrances that we have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Charles C. Hascall as
aforesaid and that we will and our heirs executors & administrators shall warrant and defend the same to
the said Charles C. Hascall his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful demands of all persons

year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five

Oakland County ss. Be it remembered that on this Eleventh day of March AD 1835 personally
appeared before me the undersigned a Justice of the peace within and for said county the within named
John T Webster and Elizabeth his wife known to me to be the persons who Executed the within deed and
acknowledged that they Executed the same for the purposes therein Expressed and the said Elizabeth at
the same time Examined by me separate and apart from her said husband where she acknowledged that
she Executed the same as aforesaid without fear or compulsion of her said husband Given under my
hand this the 11th day of March 1835
