On Friday we were discussing the angle that we would be taking with marketing campaign for the

political party. We outlined some basic ideas and theories that we can expand upon to support our
platforms.
The main focal point will be to disprove the notion that Trump is anti-Mexican/Hispanic and to attempt
to change that perception. We discussed a multi-pronged plan to dispel this idea that he is antiMexican. These ideas that we discussed I'll put below with a small explanation of the reasoning that we
had to include it.
-Trump is not anti-Mexican, or even anti-immigrant, he is anti illegal immigrant.
-We can produce figures that show the costs to the tax payers and states associated with mass
populations of illegal immigrants. There is no real figures available for how many illegal immigrants
there are in America today. Estimates vary wildly on this number from as little as 5 million upwards to
over 20 million individuals.
Costs associated with illegal immigration
-This population puts stress on programs such as the school systems. More people going to
schools without paying the associated taxes lead to an increase in class sizes, underfunding for
materials, teachers, and even for new schools to be built in areas with a larger population.
-Cost of healthcare. Since many of these individuals working illegally have no access to health
insurance, public services such as free clinics or other community outreach services, which in many
areas are already strapped for cash, have their resources spread even thinner by an increased strain on
the system. In the United States a hospital must treat individuals with life threatening injuries, even if
they do not have the means of payment. A hospital can not let you die. Illegal immigration adds costs to
the hospital system, which then they will pass those cost onto paying customers through an increase in
cost for procedures.
-It can even go down to even simple things such as the cost of automotive insurance. Without
identification, or a social security number, you cannot get a driver's license or insurance for the car.
These individuals than drive illegally and any damages, both physical and bodily, that are caused to
citizens are a sunk cost. They have no recourse in which to get reimbursed.
A tightening on immigration in America from Latin America is a positive, not a negative.
With lax restrictions of who can move into the United States, individuals who should not be
moving into America are. We can provide crime statistics from street gangs such as La Eme, or MS-13,
which are 2 of the larger and well-known organizations with ties to Latin America, and in this same
vein the drug cartels. This crime contributes to an increased cost to the police force and the prison
system, both woefully underfunded in many communities.
This crime also reflects badly on the hard-working Latino communities who are law abiding
and creates negative stereotypes which, again, reflect badly on these communities.
Find connections between Trump and Latin America
We need to research companies that are under the Trump name umbrella that have business dealing
within countries in Latin America. This will show that Trump has a positive relationship with these

countries and people, and in fact relies on them for some of his businesses that contribute to his
business successes and acumen in America.
Miscellaneous
Trump has a reputation of waffling on issues and contradicting himself. We can use this as a positive
because he is not afraid of changing his opinions when he feels that he may have been mistaken
previously, unlike many politicians who decide to fall on their swords and are too stubborn to accept
change and the emergence of changing opinions within the social strata in America.
This infamous statue

Seen as a negative prod at Trump, we can turn this negative into a positive by presenting that Trump is
all about The Naked Truth. He has nothing to hide, unlike many of the scandalous politicians of
today, Clinton and Benghazi anyone? Since he is not the typical career politician he does not have to
worry so much about what the party thinks and doesn't have to please the Republican party. We can
reference things such as G.H.W. Bush and the Noriega connections, Reagan and the Iran-CONTRA
scandal. Trump represents a refreshing shift of a nu-age Republican politician that shatters many
peoples' perceptions of the prototypical Republican candidate.
