Each winner will be entitled to one award for an exam. The winners will be entitled to the
higher level award only. For eg,. the national top 3 rank holders will be entitled to awards based on
their national ranks. Awards accruing to them for State/Zonal ranks will be given to the next rank
holder. Similarly, school award accruing to a State/Zonal award winner will be given to the next rank
holder.

In case two or more students achieve the same rank, award in the applicable category will be
distributed as under:
National Winners
for up to 9 students getting same rank, award amount will be distributed equally. In addition,
each winner will be awarded a medal (in the applicable category) and a Merit Certificate.
In case 10 & more students get same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be
awarded a medal ( in the applicable category) and Merit Certificate.
State Winners -
for up to 4 students getting same rank, award amount will be distributed equally. In addition,
each winner will be awarded a medal (in the applicable category) and a Merit Certificate.
In case 5 & more students get same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be awarded
a medal (in the applicable category) and Merit Certificate.
AT SCHOOL LEVEL
1. 800000 Medals to school Toppers.
A. In case section wise registrations are not received:
Where 10 or more students from one class write an exam - *gold, silver and bronze medals
to top 3 rank holders.
Where between 5 to 9 students from a class write an exam -* gold medal to the top rank
holder.
All students whose sections are not indicated will be allocated section X by default
B. In case section wise registrations are received:
In case a section has more than 25 participants, top 3 rank holding students from such
section will be awarded medals. This will be applicable for all sections where participants exceed 25
nos.
In addition to above, if between 10 -25 students participate from a section, the top 3 will be
awarded a gold, silver and bronze medal.
In case 2 or more sections have between 10-25 participants, top 3 rank holding students
from one section with highest participants will be awarded medals.
In case 2 or more sections from a class have same number of participants (between 10-25),
the top 3 rank holders will be determined by merging such sections. These top 3 rank holders will be
awarded medals
2. Student Performance Report (SPR) for each participating student.
Every student who appears in any MSGKOLYMPIAD exam is provided with a Student
Performance Report (SPR). An SPR is a detailed analysis of how the student attempted the 1 st level
Olympiad exam.
The objective of SPR is to share with the student and her / his parents, analysis of students
answers. This is expected to enable the student understand her/his strengths and areas requiring
improvement in absolute terms and also on a competitive scale consisting of lacs of students of
her/his class who appeared for the Olympiad.
The SPR consists of six sections:
Section A provides the students marks and rank achieved in school / city / state / at
national level.
Section D provides correct answers to questions asked in the Olympiad exam, the answers
given by the student and performance comparison of the students answers vs other students in the
state and at the international level.
Section E provides a percentile score analysis of the student with a comparison with the
class, state and international percentile.
Section F provides a comparison of average marks analysis at the school, state and
international level.

Principals awards are based on cumulative performance of schools in all Olympiads, whereas
Teacher awards are based on school performance in individual Olympiads.
AT SCHOOL LEVEL
Appreication Mementos to school Principals & Teacher In-Charge
SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIPS:
Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS)- Rs.5000/each scholarship to 300 girls who are
academically inclined but come from economically modest families.
Scholarship for Excellence in English (SEE) Rs.5000/ each scholarship to 120 students
exhibiting excellence in English Language.
Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES) Rs.5000/ scholarship + Trophy to 160 students from
class three to class ten. Student scoring highest number of marks in 3 Olympiad exams during the
year wins the AES. Winners to be selected for all 20 zones / states. Weightage may be accorded to
different Olympiads.
