GG Center to be one of the top centers in the
Philippines. At first glance you may think
that GG Center is small, but thats just the tip
of the iceberg. Once youll enter their center,
you will be surprised by 116 Teachers who
will welcome you warmly with their smiling
faces.
GG Center, TAL Le Waijiaos 7th Center in
the Philippines is located in the heart of Clark
Pampanga. It started in July 2015 with only
30 Teachers. Though they started as a small
team in the beginning, they remained the
same energetic, lively and loving individuals
up until now. Teachers are divided into teams
which are named after Chinese cities (Team
Beijing, Team Shanhai, etc)

GG Teachers are hard working

and responsible. They are never
hesitant to extend classes for
students if necessary; they are
willing to sacrifice coffee breaks
to make interesting videos for
students and for Le Waijiao; they
are prompt and active in group
activities of different kinds. All
their efforts are all shown in the
impressive improvements: the
attendance rate has improved
significantly;
the
rate
for
successful class completion is
within top 3 among all centers;
most importantly, the Student
Retention Rate rose from the
bottom to Rank 2. (According
to data by August 26) Now, with
all the glorious achievements
from the crazy busy summer, GG
center is here to meet everyone on

As the world moves forward with its discoveries

and developments of technology; We, as a
foundation of education, move forward as well.
Everything moves in a fast pace nowadays and
there is no time to lag behind. Our children have
easier access to information now than we did
before. The discoveries this generation has found
is truly groundbreaking, from the simple camera
drones to discovering water on Mars. This goes
to show how limitless the mind can be. We only
need a little nudge from behind to unearth new
things.
For this Teachers Day, I would like to commend
our educators for being the front liners in
making our childrens dreams come true. In
China, Teachers Day is celebrated on the 10th
of September. The celebration includes meetings
and festive events where the teachers and trainers
of China are acknowledged of their selfless work.
We would like to extend our celebration in China
to the Philippines because I am aware of the
efforts Le Waijiao Teachers have exerted to teach
their students not only the English language but
also the value of Education.

Online education has been around and it seems that it is the heart of the 21st century.
It wasnt just about studying online but also an open door for online business. The
advancement of technology has brought all these advantages that both businessmen
and educators have in commonto introduce both opportunities to teachers and
students studying online at the best of their comfort. Students can study before
going to school and or after school via the Internet. The goal is, as long as you have

Although studying online has been

around, teachers and students
are still on the transition period.
Adjusting to classroom basics
which students are used to meeting
teachers face-to-face to meeting
these foreign teachers via camera is
of big difference. As this is now the
medium of most learning, it only
proves that change will continue
to be a constant factor and those
online teachers will be challenged
to plan further habitual way of
teaching models if they want to
remain relevant. New technologies
and new learning approach are
transforming the way educational
programs are delivered and are
changing the way people learn.

Le Waijiao Magazine Vol. 12

It can be imagined that the cost of learning might be cheaper driven by

the increased availability and access to massive open online courses and
alternative media for transferring knowledge and information to every one
anywhere in the world. With all of these possible changes in education in
general, educators are oblige to provide greater service in this respect as
students will be able to grasp concepts and theories quicker, and at their
own convenience. They will be a lot more confident and specific about their
interests and will have a variety of quality learning options and methods to
choose from.
Students in the future will be more driven by interest and passion to hone
their talents and passions to learning which will have a great impact to
society and there will be more specific and tailored program providing to
a various scope of often alike yet well-defined interests and new fields of
study. It is the new standard will fulfill the needs of the future students and
the society. That is, each person or student may work where he or she is
most adept and likes best working at. The future will be both a challenge to
educators and students but the most interesting part is both are prepared of
the changes the future education it will bring.

Biometrics is the technology used to recognize humans based on specific physical or behavioral traits.
In the future, this technology will help intelligent
software completely understand the physical and
emotional state of children learning in the classroom.
Course material presented to students can be altered
on the fly and will be perfectly tailored to individual needs based on biometric signals from students.
Physical traits such as facial expression, heart rate,
skin moisture and even odor can be used to create
detailed reports of student understanding and performance. Behavioral signs such as typing rhythm, gait
and voice can let teachers know when students are
in need of additional assistance as well as help them
understand what teaching techniques work best for
individual students.

Companies such as Microsoft have been working

on multi-touch surfaces for many years now.
Although they have done amazing things, it has
only been since the massive success of Apples
iPhone that the concept of multi-touch has been
embraced by mainstream consumers. As touch
surfaces become cheaper and more advanced, we
are seeing early concepts of multi-touch products
that will one day change the classroom. A video
of the EXOdesk below shows how the whole work
surface can be manipulated with real-time data and
altered for completely different purposes. Imagine
a workspace where students are collaborating live
with peers around the world, manipulating virtual
objects right in front of them. Streamed video,
virtual tools and millions of online resources
available with a single swipe of the desk.

With rumors of Google releasing Augmented

Reality (AR) glasses by the end of the year,
this technology may be closer than we think.
AR is essentially the layering of further data
on top of the reality we already see. Whether
students are wearing Oakley THUMP style
glasses or having data sent straight to their AR
contact lenses, the educational implications
for this technology are huge. We talk about
rich media being available in digital textbooks,
but imagine having an AR Benjamin Franklin
sitting at your desk explaining the Declaration
of Independence. The immersive experience
that students will enjoy both in and outside the
classroom will be amazing.

Yes, the future sounds exciting . . . and scary. Electrodes on our children as they study? Monitoring their
scent for signs of distress? These are far-fetched concepts and in truth could only ever be implemented
with strict guidelines, care and understanding.
In ten years time, will I be comfortable with subliminal data being collected from children as they learn?
No, absolutely not. But ten years ago I would have said there was no way I would upload my private
videos for the world to see, or freely enter my personal information into a giant online database.
I guess only time will tell, and until then, I will continue hoping for that long awaited hover-board.

The only constant in this world is

change. In this fast changing world,
Education is also being modified.
As the world changes, the needs
of the people elevates and this
marks that there will be new
avenues to discover, new horizons
to explore and innovations to make
Education a revolution of learning.
Educational system will be different
as social challenges and demands
of world rise. So, lets have a fast
forward to the future.
As the educational system changes,
the teachers role will also adapt
into this Change. The Role of a
teacher in 50 years will be based
on what the worlds demands.
The teacher should have modern
aims. The goals set in attaining the
educational level of the student.
In the 21st century, teacher is
well equipped in the standards of
the modernization. Educational
technology is being implemented as
globalization raises the bar higher.
It is not enough that teacher has
mastered the teaching profession.
In 50 years, teachers will be
more creative in terms of content
or planning of the lesson, the
application of lesson to the learners
and classroom management.
The teacher will attain new level of
flexibility, efficiency and the ability
to reach out with his student.

The teachers will still be facilitators

of learning. They are going to
be providers of information and
tools that the student needs in
mastering a certain kind of lesson.
Teachers will be excellent planners.
They will develop the creative
plans on how to deliver the lesson
to the student effectively and
efficiently.

Learning will be having its advance

electronic debut in 50 years. Laptops,
Tablets and projectors are ways more
advance in those years. Distance
education will be highlighted and
advanced online courses will take its
place to the educational system. Teacher
will still and will always be facilitator in
the education system during those times
in the future.

In this fast changing world, everything is

being modified so that it can adapt to drastic
shifting of the demands of the society.
Education may be electronic nowadays.
Learning is everywhere. It can happen
inside the classroom, online library or
even everywhere as long as there is a wifi
connection. Educational technology will be
improved as the time goes by. There will be
new gadgets that will aid the teaching learning
process. There will be new skeptical lesson
plans that focus to the learning capacity of the
student. There will be a wide range of new
discoveries and research on how to improve
ones learning skills. Books will be replaced by
tablets. Computers will be switched into hightech laptops.

What will be the

difference of
school day now and
in the future?
Teacher RIMY

Education, without it, we

would all be mindless wonders

wandering around the globe.
Education is an important factor
in our lives, but the past, present,
and future of education is
changing and change it will, until
our education system is the best
in the world.
In the past, students learned from
the teacher. Facts were learned
from text books. Learning took
place in the classroom. Teachers
asked questions and students
answered them. Information
about faraway places was found
in books.
Presently, students learn from
the teacher, each other, the
internet, books, movies, people
inside the school, people outside
the school, and people in other
countries. Students learn

through inquiry. They

ask questions, wonder,
explore, experiment
and investigate new
ideas. They make online
global connections and
learn about faraway
places directly from
people who live in them!
Teachers assess student
learning through
portfolios and creative
performance tasks.
In reality, most
early schools were
combination classes
with a variety of age
groups as students.
Almost each individual
was given an equal
amount of personal
help from the teacher.
Also, life wasnt as
complicated as they

are now. One teacher

would teach the whole
class a limited variety
of subjects such
as Arithmetic and
English. The shameless
exaggerations were
meant for us to think
that school back in
the good old days
was very difficult and
surpassed the level
of difficulty students
today have. Again,
the object is to use
real-life approaches to
assessment. Education
was just easier when it
first became popular.
Nowadays, in the
present, school not only
is a place to learn, its a
place to stress out.
What shape the school
of the future will take
is amorphous, but
most educators and
observers agree that
the future school will
go electronic with a
capital E. I can imagine
the immediate future,
since there are many
inspiring educators who
are already way ahead
of our school in creating
global connections and
collaborating across

the world in all

sorts of exciting
ways. They are
motivating us
to flatten our
classroom walls
still more. And
after thatthe
possibilities are
endless!
Whatever the
configuration of
a school of the
future might be,
technology is
always a huge
part of it. The
school days when
computers meant
word processing
or playing games
are already
behind us. Yet
no matter how
great computers
and other
technologies play
in the school of
the future, it is
only a means,
advocates of
technology say, to
the greater end of
enabling students
to learn through
interaction with
various aspects of
life.

"Nothing in this world endures

but change, to resist it is to be
left behind. To welcome and be
challenged by it is a great step
ahead.

This has been an old adage that most people have lived doing
without realizing it. Change is inevitable. One simple word that has
a power to shape the future, one simple word abused by some yet
nurtured by most. For quite some time, people have understood and
accepted Education as inculcation
of facts, ideas and figures.

In the early 16th century Europe, compulsory education was implemented yet
some supporters of this has their own agendas on what lessons children should be
taught. This is the same with secular organizations that teach lessons to instill fear
of God and sense of duty to children until education was seen as a tedious work of
memorization and repetition. In the 18th century, educational institutions began
inflicting punishments to students who fail to learn. Such doings made education
forced into students and it has become a battle for them to fight for.
Through the years, education has continuously undergone metamorphosis to adapt
to the needs of our society. Different renowned institutions have started breaking
the shackles of the four walls of a classroom, diverting from the traditional ways
and acclimatizing themselves to modernization and technology. Education now
also has started addressing the needs of people to work and at the same time learn
in the comforts of their home. Such changes have opened more opportunities for
people from different walks of life to have a better education and a brighter future.

Future. As I contemplate on the idea of what education would be in the

future, I just want you to know that some of these lucrative ideas have started to
take its form.

13

Le Waijiao Magazine Vol. 12

CORPORATE CULTURE

nvisage

Education in the future would be not about learning how to answer

questions from a test paper but it would be more of learning how to address
a problem from the real world using different substantial theories learned
in school. The exercise of critical thinking and its application to solve
problems would be more of the future educations core. Gone will be the
days of confining students into the four walls of a room but they would be
learning by experience. Students would be absorbing knowledge through
different perceptions and analyzing theories and hypothesis and molding
them into beneficial solutions to real life situations. Reading comprehension
and critical skills would be more focused on as reading is a key fundamental
of learning.
In the future, the classroom would be the world. Every student would
have a laptop that would serve as library, data storage, and connection to
the world of information. Interactions would be done through group calls.
Homework would be sent and received thru emails. Teachers would create
individual learning plans for each student and class hours would depend on
the students most convenient time. Students from different countries would
interact more and exchange their ideas and knowledge. Teachers would be
not just a medium between knowledge and students but they would serve
also as facilitators and executors of curriculums. They would have totally
deviated themselves from rigid school and strict rules yet they can still evoke
students to explore and imagine different methods to acquire knowledge.
The idea that teachers just transfer knowledge from books to students mind
would be eradicated. They would be seen as a channel that enhances each
students capability to be resourceful and productive. Students in the future
would know and attest that there is nothing impossible in our world. The
barricades of social status and races would be stripped down and leveled.
School infrastructures may still be the same for some institutions but most
curriculums would be changed.
These changes may take time to be molded into its quintessential form but
nevertheless it will never be impossible as Education is as important to us as
the air we breathe, the food that nourish us and the roof that shelter us. The
future of education is an ever sweet promise of triumph that can liberate us
all.

CORPORATE CULTURE

What could be the difference BETWEEN

the classroom setting
AND in the

NOW

FUTURE

Teacher JOHN

When we say classroom the first thing that would

pop-up in our minds would be the regular classroom
setting with one teacher and a class of maybe 10-40
students. This where we learn new things, interact
with our teacher and classmates and meet new
friends. But as technology progresses there is a new
concept of classroom that is slowly taking over the
so-called traditional classroom setting. The latest
technologies gave birth to something we can call the
Virtual Classroom. The idea itself is not that hard to
conceptualize, but often the characteristics regarding a
virtual classroom are not discussed. So this article will
be about the changes of the classes from now to the
classes in the future.

A virtual classroom is an online classroom that allows

participants to communicate with one another,
view presentations or videos, interact with other
participants, and engage with resources in work
groups. There are 2 kinds. The first one is similar to
a traditional classroom however the teacher is in a
different area and is projected to a screen in front of
a group of students. The second types is a complete
virtual networks where the teacher and the students
are in different places with their own personal
computers and are interlinked through a single online
video conference.
Lewaijiao, our company,
applies this kind of
technology in most of their
classes. For now, we are
focused on one on one class
with the students but there
is a new project where a small group class is conducted
with a single teacher together with three students in a
conference. It is a very good step because in that way

teachers can be more productive and the company can

allow more students to take advantage of this learning
experience. Some highly prestigious Universities in
the United States are starting to use this technology in
conducting their classes. Such as in Harvard Business
School in the USA released their own version called
HBX Live, a virtual classroom designed to reproduce
the synchronous interaction of Harvard Business School
(HBS) famed case method in a digital environment. It
enables participants from around the world to engage
in a dynamic and highly interactive discussion under
the direction of a HBS professor. Lewaijiao has the same
concept however the teachers and students interact
using Chinas largest social network QQ and a new
application called FUTURE CLOUD.

50 years from now, I can see that the Virtual Classroom

could replace classrooms that we know today. I thank
Lewaijiao for giving me a chance to be a part of this
modern and innovative system of education. I am happy
to be part of this change.

What are the advantages of Virtual Classrooms?

No Restrictions

AFFORDABLE

FLEXIBLE LEARNING

A virtual classroom allows

both teachers and students
around the world to
participate in live classes
to collaborate and interact.
Lewaijiao programs like New
Concept English are a great
example of this concept in
action.

The low costs of virtual

classrooms are considered
to be a major advantage.
Students can save money by
not having to worry about
travel expenses. Teachers
also save time since all that
is needed is an internet
connection.

Online classes also allow

for the ability to save
the classes as it happens,
including any presentation,
audio and visuals. This means
that the content is accessible
even after being delivered,
an added benefit for those
who want a quick refresher,
or perhaps did not fully
understand the first time.

15

Le Waijiao Magazine Vol. 12

PRACTICAL AND
PROVEN
Synchronous learning is
a learning event where
everyone takes part in the
learning at the same time. A
traditional classroom setting
is an example of this type of
learning, and has been used
for hundreds of years. Online
learning enables this same
type of experience, but is far
convenient because of tools.

ACCESSIBLE
Virtual classrooms can be
used to deliver lectures or
even tutorials online. They
are also great options for
impromptu meetings and group
projects where members need
to check-in on progress and
bounce ideas of one-another.
With the virtual environment,
ideas and collaborators are
never far away.

They said a picture can paint a

thousand words. As for me, a
picture can paint a thousand words
and can define a hundred feelings. I
dont consider myself as an artist
but rather as a hobbyist when it
comes to sketching/drawing/painting.
I draw the things that inspire me;
it could be a line of a song, a quote
or a line in a movie/book- anything
thats relevant. It is something
that I dont do seriously but love
doing it. Every time I finish a
sketch or a drawing, I post it on
my social media account. It is not
because to impress people but to
express myself in the most creative
and interesting way.
As I observed, most of my artworks
were done in between my classes,
especially in autumn semester, and
it wasnt my intention to have
a collection of (hash tag) #while
waiting for my next class works
of art. My artworks were product
of time/boredom, inspiration and
thoughts. You see, there are
some thoughts that Webster and
Merriam couldnt interpret and spell
out, that only colors, shapes and
imagination could portray.

Hi, Good day!

I am Colleen and I
really love to draw
specially on my spare
time. I feel delighted
and relaxed whenever
I draw or do some
art works. I made
this on my break
time. I used oil pastel
to this artwork.
I want to show
people, specially our
beloved parents and
student to let them
know that English
is really important.
That English connects
people all over the
world. That English
can make new friends.
That English is the
key to communicate

PAINTING:
Teacher GRACE

Painting is one of the hobbies I enjoy

the most. It is also one of the closest
things in my heart. It enlightens me
to think creativity. My love of painting
started when I went to an art gallery
somewhere in Edsa in 2009. The
beautiful abstract kind of painting
caught my eyes. I was so enchanted by
that painting. I looked at it for few

My Soul

minutes and tried to interpret it. I

didnt know why, but I felt that the
painting was describing how I felt at
that moment. The first time I looked
at the picture it was like there were
only two---colors green and blue. When
I got closer to the picture I noticed
there were many other colors used. I
loved the way the colors were mixed

into each other where

you have to really look
at the picture to see
the colors. The other
colors, other than green
and blue, were pink,
white, orange, red, and
yellow. There were also
different shades of green
and blue. I had a terrible
time interpreting it. I
realized that painting
is something that is
challenging. Its up to
the viewer to define
the meaning especially
abstract painting. From
then on, I learned
how to value arts
and started to gather
information about it. I
am not a professional
painter. I know that I
need to learn a lot of
techniques about it. I
think painting is a type
of communication, but
because painting is a
visual art form it is
hard to write about.
Not every painting is
for everyone. Not all
people appreciate my
artworks because they
said that I couldnt do
it alone. Yes, theres
a person behind it. He
guides me and teaches
me everything about
arts. Since painting is
also my passion, I slowly
improved my skill and got
some tips about arts. I

29

dont want to stop

learning how to draw
and how to paint.
It helps me a lot,
and every time I am
stressed and exhausted,
I give time to paint.
Whatever I feel, it
reflects my artworks.
Art is like music for
me. Every time Im
angry, I listen to rock
music. When Im sad, I
listen to gospel songs.
I tried to paint when
I was terribly mad.
The outcome was like I
was in the wilderness.
I didnt even notice
that it was very
unpleasant when I was
doing it. After that, I
dont paint when I am
angry. Painting is also
a messy hobby because
of the materials that
I use, but I dont care
about it. It is also

an expensive hobby.
When you paint, you
need to have the
right materials such as
canvass cloth, brushes,
acrylic, watercolors
and pastel to get
started. Despite
of this, painting is
exciting to look at
because of the manner
in which it captures
the imagination of
the viewer. For me,
painting is a language
and practice is alive
and changing all the
time. For several years
I have been creating,
looking at and enjoying
art. It has been a
part of my life for as
long as humanity has
existed. Arts inspire
me so I wont stop
painting as long as I
have the materials
with me.

Painting is like oxygen to my veins.

It keeps me alive and happy. It is my
stress reliever. This hobby makes me
travel to dreamland and make wishes
and imaginings. Somehow, this is a great
escape from the busy routes of our
everyday life.
Honestly, nobody taught me how to
paint. I am an Education graduate and
not a fine arts student. I dont know
much about painting jargons, either. All
I know is I am happy to hold those
brushes and keep the colors blending
even I dont understand it thoroughly.
So when somebody asks me to teach
them how to paint, I cant really
explain everything. Im just happy to
share these art works Ive done in
different time and places
When I was in high school and college,
this talent gave me an opportunity earn
money so I can have some allowance.

problems. I even dreamt to study

in an art school or course but its
not practical. I have to use the
resources I have to fulfill my hobby.
The classmate of my sister visited
our home. He is a body painter and
he brought paints! When I saw it, I
think I experienced the love at first
sight. I asked for some paint and
he gave me a paintbrush. But he
did not teach me because we dont
have much time that day. I learned..
and learned and I strived harder
to make a good painting. Its not as
professional as the others but its
something that can help others and
make them happy.
Here are some of my paintings with
some of the dates:
This is the first mural I made in
the room of my neighbors kids. I
used to tutor them and I am letting
them paint the base colors as I
refine the other details. (2013)
(One Piece and Pokemon)

I fixed these doors of our house because it look so boring. We cannot furnish it well
so I decided to paint the fairies for the four daughters of the house Feby (orange),
Cheryl (pink), Nathalia (Yellow), and Gleny (green). (2014) (Elemental fairies)
I usually paint on the wall I
dont know how to do it in the
canvass. Hahhaha! And canvass is
quite expensive. I love to make
the boring and old walls or wood
as something colorful, lively, and
interesting! A happy painting
makes me so happy, too!
This is the Grade 2
room of Mrs. Saulda,
my boyfriends mother.
She is a teacher at
La Carlota. These are
some wall paintings and
bulletin board designs.
I must admit that I
am happy to make it
pretty because some
kids are watching. Its
their first time to see
a wall painting and I
motivated them to
enrich their talent,
too! (Aug 2015)

A recent painting. Our

kitchen cabinets were
so old and again, I
cant bear to see that
its too boring. I love
animated pictures so I
made a happy kitchen

Art is everywhere. Ithas been a part

of our life for as long as humanity has
existed.From the simple drawings of
a 3 year old child, the sculptures like
the Statue of Liberty, to the tallest
building in this world. All of these belong
to the so-called art that we continue
tocreate, criticize, and appreciate.
For me, art is very important. It helps
me express my feelings and communicate
with others. It is one of the many
things that I treasure in my life. To be
able to grow as an artist and see people
appreciate my artworks are more than
enough to let me know that I made
something worthwhile in my life.Though
this can be quite challenging for me
sometimes because myart stylemay not
suit the taste of others.
My art is an example of what most
people, if not all, have read, heard, seen
or know about. It is calledAnime. It is
a Japanese-disseminated animation style
often characterized by colorful graphics,
vibrant characters and fantastical themes.
But instead of animation, mine are
illustrations.
Obviously, I still have a lot of room for
improvement. But I am more than willing
to accept the challenge, alongside the
challenge of making some of my peers and
relatives appreciate my art.
Art is everywhere. It comes in different
forms, genres, media and styles. It can
be used for a lot of reasons. But I think
what matters the most is that it can
help the artist express their imagination
and creativity, and be able to share them
to people around them.

Now that youve taken the survey, what does it all mean?
Each letter (L, O, G, B) stands for a particular personality type. The column with the highest score is your
dominant personality type, while the column with the second highest number is your sub-dominant type.
While you are a combination of all four personality types, the two types with the highest scores reveal the
most accurate picture of your natural inclinations, strengths and weaknesses, and how you will naturally
respond in most situations.
The four personality types can be likened to animals to make them easier to understand and remember.
Below are complete descriptions of each one.

L = Lions
Lions are leaders. They are usually the bosses at work
or at least they think they are! They are decisive,
bottom line folks who are observers, not watchers or listeners.
They love to solve problems. They are usually individualists
who love to seek new adventures and opportunities.
Lions are very confident and self-reliant. In a group setting,
if no one else instantly takes charge, the Lion will.
Unfortunately, if they dont learn how to tone down their
aggressiveness, their natural dominating traits can cause
problems with others. Most entrepreneurs are strong lions, or
at least have a lot of lion in them.

Time Management: Lions focus on NOW instead of distant future. They get a lot more done in a lot
less time than their peers. Hate wasting time; and like to get right to the point.
Communication Style: Great at initiating communication; not good at listening (one way communicator)
Decision Making: Impulsive; makes quick decisions with goal or end result in mind. Results-focused.
Needs very few facts to make a decision.
In Pressure or Tense Situations: The lion takes command and becomes autocratic.
Greatest Needs: The lion needs to see results, experience variety, and face new challenges.
He needs to solve problems and wants direct answers.
What the Lion Desires: Freedom, authority, variety, difficult assignments, opportunity for advancement.

O = Otters
Otters are excitable, fun seeking,
cheerleader types who love to talk!
Theyre great at motivating others and
need to be in an environment where
they can talk and have a vote on
major decisions. The otters outgoing
nature makes them great networkersthey usually know a lot of people
who know a lot of people. They can be
very loving and encouraging unless under pressure, when
they tend to use their verbal skills to attack. They have a

G = Golden Retrievers
One word describes these people: LOYAL. Theyre so loyal, in
fact, that they can absorb the most emotional pain and
punishment in a relationship and still stay committed. They
are great listeners, incredibly empathetic and warm encouragers. However, they tend to be such pleasers that they can
have great difficulty being assertive in a situation or

B = Beavers
Beavers have a strong need to do things right and by the
book. In fact, they are the kind of people who actually read
instruction manuals. They are great at providing quality
control in an office, and will provide quality control in any
situation or field that demands accuracy, such as accounting,
engineering, etc. Because rules, consistency and high standards
are so important to beavers, they are often frustrated with
others who do not share these same characteristics. Their
