As per Govemment order read

above, Government have ordered that in the case of

employees who retire during the pan of pre-revised and revised pay and have the eligibiliry
of full pension and if the pension calculated ar the time of rerirement is less than sO%o of the
minimum of the revised scale of pay from which they retired, 500/o of the minimum of the
revised scale of pay will be ensured. For rhe redrees who are nor eligible for full pension, the
proportion ofthe full pension based on qualifying service will be ensured.

2. The Principal Accounrant General vide letter cited 2"d above sought clarification on the
date of effect of the Government Order read L', above.
3. Govemment have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to order that the date of
effect of the Govemment order read l" above is from the date of effect of the g,n pay
Revision i.e from 01.07.2004 .
