SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

Summary
SJC Grocery Store is a well-known grocery in Singapore city before, but
they have renovated here in the Philippines. It has many loyal customers and as
time goes by, they have been known for their affordable products and their
problem is they need a system that can help them in storing record of
transactions like weekly report, employee lists, and a system that can get orders
faster and easier than manually listing it from every order. For the new system to
be introduced, it will be a marketing tool to attract the clients to have a
convenient way of ordering and going to grocery. This will minimize the time
required waiting to finish the computing and encoding the ordered products of the
customers, and recording the expenses and income of the company. In this way
clients will be satisfied and will come again to visit the grocery and will share the
experience to friends and other people that will attract to visit the grocery store.
For the grocery owner side, there will be a systematic way of serving the clients
and the systematic way of preparing the orders and manpower deployment as
per schedule of events. This will be an advantage to both the clients and the
owner of the grocery and both of them will benefit on the new system.
Conclusion
The researchers have concluded that the proposed system will be a helping
hand to the employees of the SJC Grocery Store, because of the researchers
working on the sales and inventory system that will contribute an efficient
progress to their sales and time, and lessen the work to be made. For them to
successfully operate their Business overtime.

Problem Definition
The present system, clients are coming in to buy products they need, but
due to the manual processing the cashier wont able to list all the needed items in
short time of the customers. Once the customer orders are made, the cashiers
will compute the price of each product made and automatically generate a data
for the transaction. With regards to the grocery time management, time is very
important on rush hour, client should stay in line for a shorter period of time so
that new clients will take their place immediately to serve more clients and earn a
profit on the side of the grocery store owner. In this way, the cashier can take
charge for the next customer that is going to order and pay all of the items he/she
wishes to buy.

Problem Definition

The problem of their current setting is that they

do not have a system that can automatically record the
sales and every transaction. They manually transact the
orders of the customers coming in.

- The location is well cleaned. It is crowded at holiday

- Every time a customer comes, the employee has to
transact the items they wish to buy and get their orders
by manually listing it.

Summary:
- It takes more time to manually list all the orders
and list them into a manual record of
transactions.
- Sometimes, the customers have difficulty in
ordering the items they wish to buy because they
cannot decide how many items they wish to buy.
