The purpose of this report is to present the proofs that I had finished the number
of hours that is required by the OJT/Practicum subject. It also shows the things that I
have done during the OJT, recommendations and problems that have been
encountered during the program, certificates and the daily time record.

Preface
This report is intended for the partial fulfilment of the Practicum/OJT. The qualities of
this report are the proof of the student that he/she finished the course. It also emphasises the
works/task that the student have done within the days or weeks of the required hours. It also
explains or shows the problems encountered by the student during the OJT and the
recommendations that the student can give the company to improve or change their ways.
The certificates and daily time record attached in this report are given by the company to
give proof that the student finished or reached the 240 hours requirement.
INTRODUCTION
The On the Job Training/Practicum is an obligatory subject for all 5 th year students first
semester engineering student. The students must fulfil 200 hours or more and about a month to
do the job training in the chosen company. This training program for the students is an activity
done by the students to gain experience in the real work and learn things that is not thought in the
school. The job training should be aligned or related to the program of the student.
On the job training is one method of giving the students a chance to experience on how to
apply for work and interviewed on the process. It is also a chance to let experience the students
to apply the theories, methodologies, actual tools and computations that they have learned from
the school. This training can also give the students to acquire knowledge and skills by
performing actual work and setting. The on the job training is also letting the students to
experience the feeling of being in the workplace that can develop the skills of an individual. On
the other hand, the companies that allow OJT program can acquire benefits like additional
manpower for a lesser labor cost and most of the interns that are applying on this program are
willing to learn and cooperate. The company can use the program as a method of hiring or
recruiting of new employees. The supervisors that are observing or guiding the students working
can be the basis of the performance, behaviour, attitude and skill that can be recruited after the
training program.
On the Job training can give the company new ideas and give opportunity to the students
to make decisions about their work and with the guidance of the supervisors. It can also
contribute and speak freely when asked by the supervisors in improving the companys
productivity.

MDRL Industrial Sales Corporation was established on the year 1989.
It became an organization on the year 2004. It is located in Caloocan City.

Problem Encountered
The problem that I encountered during the program are that the company
dont have enough space in their warehouse because some of the clients that are
ordering their products/materials are taking some time to be picked up. The
company is also delivering their products but the clients are also taking their time
to give a delivery date. I also observed that sometimes they cant accept more
orders because they dont know where to place their finish product while it is not
yet delivered or picked up.
Recommendation
The recommendation that I can give to the company is that they should rent or
buy a warehouse near to the factory so they wont be having a hard time to store their
materials and finished products. It can also give factor to them because they can accept
more clients and earn more profit for the company to expand more.
Conclusion
On The Job training program can really give a big learning experience to the
students to see what is happening to the real world in terms of working to a company or
an industry. This program can make you apply what you have learned about the theories
and methodologies that have been taught by the school. It is also a method of improving
or widening the skills of the students by observing the problems that the company is
facing and give some recommendations that can help solve the problems.
