Nowadays, there are many cosmetic products which use

hazardous materials. And it really damage our skin. Okewhat
do you think about it ?

In my opinion, its very ironic, we use cosmetic to make up our

face. But we can get devastating effect instead. Some skin
whitening products contain the toxic chemical mercury(II)
chloride as the active material that can cause many diseases.

Zsa- zsa

Mercury can slow fetal growth resulted in miscarriage (death of

fetus and Infertility), give a response opposite REBOUND (SKIN
WILL BE DARK and dull when we stop to use that cosmetic) and
can cause skin cancer, On initial use can cause skin irritation
and redness when exposed to sunlight. So, there are many bad
effects if we use cosmetic that contain mercury.

Siregar. Well , the answer is true. Because from the article that
I have read , the rice contains allantoin which is good to soothe
sunburn and also promotes the skins repair. Rice is the
nutrient rich to whiten the face.

Thats right , rice mask has many benefits as I know its also
good to overcome acne and the dull skin and rice is a natural
anti aging and oil absorbing properties. So that , this mask is

very good for oily face.

Well, rice mask which we will make contains vitamins, minerals,

and amonia acids which are essential for beautiful skin,
including ferule acid which is a great antioxidant, and illation,
that known as anti-inflammatory properties.

Oke, before we make it, we have to prepare the ingredients

such as :
1. A cup of rice
2. Water
3. 3 spoonful of honey
4. 4 teaspoonful of lemon
5. 2 teaspoonful of turmenic powder
6. 2 teaspoonful of olive oil.

A rice facial mask can gently exfoliate your skin, add moisture
and brighten your skin tone, but we cant use the actual grains
for a face mask. Therefore , before we make the mask, we
have to make the rice powder.

First, pour a cup of rice into a bowl

Add a glass of water into a bowl
Stir it well with spoon
Let the rice sit in the water until it looks cloudy for about
30 to 60 minutes
5. Pour the rice and water through a sieve into a clean bowl
to separate the rice and water
6. Fill the blender container with one cup of rice (use a
blender or mixer that cracks grain)
7. Mix the rice until its soft
8. Dry the rice powder in the sun
9. And the rice powder has already finished
After that, we would like to make rice mask which serves to
moisturize the face.The ingredients that we use to make this
mask are olive oil, and honey. Dr.Bella would you please to
explain about the benefit of honey?.

Honey is often thought of as a healthier sweetener, its made

by the alchemy of bees collecting nectar, pollen and resins
from flowers. Honey can help moisturize, fight aging and fight
bacteria.Honey is a natural humectant, it means the honey
draws moisture from the air into the skin and ensures its
retained and it is the layers where its needed most for
penetrating, long-lasting hydration.

Yeah, olive oil also has many benefits for skin.Its an

antioxidants protection.Olive oil contains three major
antioxidants : vitamin E, polyphenols. And phytosterols
antioxidants may help protecting the skin from premature.

Oke, olive oil contains vitamin E right, can I know what is the
benefit of vitamin E in the olive oil?

Vitamin E partly accounts for the anti-aging benefits of olive oil

because it helps to restore skin smoothness and protects
against ultraviolet light.

Now let us make the rice facial mask to moisturize the face
1. First, add 2 spoonful of rice powder into a bowl
2. Pour 3 spoonful of honey into the bowl

And then, add 2 spoonful of olive oil

Stir it well until it smooth like pasta
Appl the mask on the face, wait for about 20 minutes
Then, rinse with lukewarm water
(To have better results use this mask once a week)

Well, now we will make mask that can whiten face. So, we use
turmeric and lemon here. Rice powder when combined with
turmeric and lemon makes an excellent fairness face pack. Its
anti aging and cleansing properties refine skin texture.
Turmeric and lemon juice are natural skin whiteners that
dramatically improves the look and colour of your skin. So that,
the woman doesnt need to use cosmetic products that can be
causing the body serious damages.

2. After that, add 2 spoonful of rice powder, one teaspoon of
turmenic and 4 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lime juice in
a bowl.
3. Mix all the ingredients to form a smooth paste

this assignment has not been perfect, so that we really need the critics
and suggestions from the teacher and all of friends to make this

Background of The Problems

Human can not be separated from language. Because language is
used to unite people. Language is an arrangement of correspondence
that empowers people to collaborate. Peitro (1990) says that language
is a stand out amongst the most helpful devices we have as human. It
can be concluded that without dialect we can not express what we
want to say to other individuals.
English is an international languange. So that, english is very
important. Students have to study english because English language is
one tool to establish our viewpoint. If we understand english, we can
learn from others experience, check the theories of foreigners against
our experience. We can also propagate our theories among the
international audience and readers. if we want to get scolarship around
the world, we have to speak english well. So that, the assignment from
Mr. Yazid gets us to know more about english, and also to finish the
assignment about procedure text from Mr.Yazid.S.Pd.

The purpose of the problem

Our english teacher has us show the pocedure text about how to
make something. As we know, many people think that the procedure
text just tells about how to make food or drink. But its so usual. So
that, we got an idea to make rice mask. Its simple and we think that
its very useful.
And we can see from the reality, there are many cosmetics that
contains hazardous materials. It causes many diseases such as skin
cancer, skin irritation and many others. Its very damage for us. So
that, we show it to give informations about natural facial treatment

that has benefit to whiten the face, mosturize the face, and anti aging
without spend a lot of time and money.
