The FLIR Griffin 824 is the first desktop trace detector of its kind. It
combines next-generation mass spectrometry technology with expandable
target libraries to eliminate false alarms and assert operator confidence. The
system expedites on-site decision making through intuitive, go/no-go alarms
for a broad range of explosives and narcotics threats. Without adding any
complexity to existing protocols, the Griffin 824 provides security personnel
with accurate and reliable information that leads to quick, intelligence-based
