Civil society expert: Study on Womens Participation in Agriculture Work in the
West Bank and Gaza Strip. The overall objective of the study is to reveal the
qualitative dimensions of womens involvement in the agriculture sector in terms o
providing indicators to assess womens roles and their importance in the informa
productive sector and their economic value-added. More specifically the study wil
contribute to providing recommendations to bridge the gaps in the valid statistics
relevant to womens involvement in the working force and in the agriculture, and
deepen the understanding of the womens involvement in agriculture and the informa
sector. And to provide the agriculture sector members with further evidence-based
information to promote women-focused policy analysis and contribute in the ongoing
gender mainstreaming in the framework of the Agriculture Sector Strategy.
Evaluation of Stand together project II implemented by Association of Women
Social Work Committees (AWSCW):
A civil society expert worked with Al-Markaz for Development and Marketing
on conducting a final evaluation of Stand Together Project. Stand Together
was designed to establish an inclusive, participatory multi-sectoral process
that combines socio-economic and professional approaches to the multi-level
challenge of combating Gender Based Violence in Palestinian society.
The project was funded by Norwegian Representative Office and
implemented by the Association of Women Work Committees.
Meeting with different stakeholders in the West Bank (MOSA, CSOs, youth
clubs, local committees, women organizations and local councils)
Capacity and Admin Development of NGOs
Conduct 60 hours training on project cycle management for a group of 20
professionals. The objective of workshops was to provide participants with knowledge
necessary to manage projects process and issues using best practices and case
studies. This included preparing training material related to project managemen
approaches and develop and evaluation plan with staff for projects process and
action plans during the training sessions.
Managing a team of project managers and coordinators a total of 7 persons
managing all development programs in the West Bank,
managing staff leading project and monitoring their day-to-day activities,
provide technical support as well as management advice to the team and the
Head of Mission,
conduct strategic plans and policy papers in accordance with Islamic
Worldwide mission,

formulate project proposals to enhance the organizations funds,


promote the organization amongst local, governmental and international
organizations,
conduct evaluation of all projects implemented, conducting progress and
annual report presented to donors and the HQ in UK
Capacity building of PA employees
Conduct three 30 hours training programs on project design based on project cycle
management: role of logical framework in project design, design of goals and
objectives, design of indicators, design of project work-plan, identify means of
verifications, risk analysis and risk management, and monitoring of project
implementation

proposals (non-state actors, food security, land development, women socioeconomic empowerment, youth empowerment, WASH programs),
