Last Saturday I came to your shop to buy some jazz CDs.I came

years ago and you sold every kind of music. Now you sell exactly
the same as all the other shops - only pop music. Why dont you sell
jazz? There is nowhere in this town you can buy a jazz CD. The sales
assistants are pleasant and helpful and I asked them why you sell just
pop music and DVDs. They didn't know. The shop was nearly empty,
so maybe you should ask the customers what they want to buy.

new celebriqr magazine called Their Lives hasjust come into our shops. There is, of
course, already a wide range of these on the shelves of our newsagents and supermarkets,
telling us everything we want to know - and usually things we don't want to know about people who are famous, and also not so famous.
When I pick up and read a celebrity magazine,I rarely get to the end, as I often don't even know
who some of the celebrities are. They have probably been on TV or in a football team for a few
weeks but, for me, that doesn't mean everybody wants to know what they eat and where they
live. But Their Lives kept my attention to the last page. It has about the same number of pages
and costs about the same as other celebrity magazines, but it has fewer photographs because it
has interviews and reviews as well as the usual kinds of article and pictures. It wasn't until I
opened it that I realised that, because it wasn't clear from the cover. Those of you who buy it
won't be disappointed, but will it succeed against all those other celebrity magazines out there
in the shops? We'll have to wait and see.
