EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Government of the Republic of Ghana has requested for Mixed Credit Support from the
Danish Government to construct permanent bridge structures at six (6) different sites of
critical importance for the development of the Northern part of Ghana.

As part of the requirements to assist in the evaluation of the request, Ghana Highway
Authority was to undertake Engineering Studies of the sites.

The studies undertaken involve Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Geometric
and Drainage Designs and Geotechnical Investigations.
