X-ray generator Optimus

The Optimus X-ray generator for radiography
and fluoroscopy is easy to adapt to user modern
requirements, making procedures fast and
highly customized. This is ensured by up to
1,000 APRF programs (Anatomically
Programmed Radiography and Fluoroscopy),
which can either be defaults or can be
programmed by you. That also applies to all
routine applications with old and new X-ray
systems in radiology.

Free tomography

kV and mA can be selected at the control desk direct

APRF-technique

kV, mA, tomographic figure incl. time are set when the APRF programme
is selected (Anatomiically Programmed Radiography / Fluoroscopy)

TDC
(Tomographic Density Control)

The automatic TDC system regulates dose rate for tomographic exposures with time limits to ensure optimum average image brightness over
the entire tomographic time, even if object cross-sections are different.

To measure area dose product a Diamentor M4 measuring chamber incl. separate control module is also required.

Variofocus
Variofocus technique

By superimposing the small and large focal spots it is possible to

generate several focuses of variable size. The new focus sizes are
between the small and large focus.

Features

Uniform loading of the focuses lengthens tube life

Focus size is adapted to the object features
Application-oriented focuses are assigned to the APRF programmes
Maximum image definition due to optimum geometric imaging
conditions.
