Chapter 1: introduction

1.1Company profile:
The company supply products related to water purification and provide also the services and
maintenance needed. They deal with different suppliers.

1.2 Company definition:

We are a company specialized in water purification, and we are passionate about the health and
safety of our clients.
We implement the newest water purification technology to provide our clients with pure and clean
water, especially in an age where viruses and microbes are widespread in our environment.

1.3 Mission statement:

To secure pure and healthy water for the entire Saudi society

1.4 Company objectives:

Our goal is to provide the Saudi market with the highest standards of healthy and pure water that
will be suitable for the daily use for all sectors in Saudi society including homes, companies,
schools, colleges, hospitals, government institutions...
We aim to achieve our goal by supplying pure and healthy water with the use of the most
advanced and high-tech American made products which are known to be of the highest standards
and quality in the world in water purification.

Chapter 3: Methodology

2.1 company history

Pure Professionals Company is a new company, was founded before one year ago and it located
in Jeddah, AlFaysaiyah district.

2.2 water pollution

Water pollution is the contamination of natural water bodies by chemical, physical, radioactive or
pathogenic substances. Adverse alteration of water quality presently produces large scale illness
and deaths, accounting for approximately 50 million deaths per year worldwide, most of these
deaths occurring in Africa and Asia. In China, for example, about 75 percent of the population (or
1.1 billion people) are without access to unpolluted drinking water, according to China's own
standards.[1]Widespread consequences of water pollution upon ecosystems include species
mortality, biodiversity reduction and loss of ecosystem services. Some consider that water
pollution may occur from natural causes such as sedimentation from severe rainfall events;
however, natural causes, including volcanic eruptions and algae blooms from natural causes
constitute a minute amount of the instances of world water pollution. The most problematic of
water pollutants are microbes that induce disease, since their sources may be construed as
natural, but a preponderance of these instances result from human intervention in the environment
or human overpopulation phenomena.

The company provides water purification and solutions by using high-tech American made
products to treat the water in Saudi Arabia to make the people health.

What is payroll?

-Total amount required to pay workers and employees during a week, month or other period.
- Pay sheet which records wage rates, deductions, and net pay.

The importance of payroll:

Every small business owner performs more than one role for his company. One of the most
important tasks in running a small business is completing payroll. Employees need to be able to
rely on being paid on a consistent basis without delays. Payroll affects every aspect of a small
business from the morale of employees to the financial stability of the company.
Morale
One of the most important aspects of payroll is its impact on the morale of employees. In a small
business, employees tend to be more aware of the company's financial stability than in a larger
business. If payroll is late, employees will start to question the financial integrity of the company.
This will cause employees to start underperforming and to care less about their job if they feel it is
not secure. Payroll should always be paid in a timely manner to keep employee morale high.
Compensation
Another important characteristic of payroll is that it allows an employee to feel his net worth within
a small company. An employee's total compensation is built into payroll. This includes his salary,
benefits and bonuses. Employees typically undergo annual performance evaluations by their
supervisors and are rewarded with an increase in salary or a bonus or both. Benefits also reflect
an employee's worth within a small business. Employees who receive health insurance, life
insurance and pension benefits feel they have a higher worth.
Consuming Job
Payroll can be a time consuming job for a small business owner. This job needs to be performed
consistently once or twice a month. In addition, the information needs to be correct so that
employees are paid the right amount, the withholdings are accurate, and state and federal tax
deposits are made timely. To do this efficiently, a small business owner should consider
outsourcing this job to free up his time.
These are the salary sheets for the months October, November and December that I calculated.

- What is an expense?
Money spent or cost incurred in an organization's efforts to generate revenue, representing the
cost of doing a business.
Expenses may be in the form of actual cash payments (such as wages and salaries), a
computed expired portion (depreciation) of an asset, or an amount taken out of earnings (such
as bad debts). Expenses are summarized and charged in the income
statement as deductions from the income before assessing income tax. Whereas all expenses
are costs, not all costs (such as those incurred in acquisition of income generating assets) are
expenses.
